Because the PBC offered a Golovkin a two fight deal before he signed with DAZN. A tune up then a Charlo fight. Doesn't seem like the thing to do if you're scared of somebody, which nobody is of Golovkin anymore. Tons of people would take that fight.

What is wrong with you? Who brought up the deal he ended up taking? They wouldn't have made an offer to Golovkin if they didn't want the fight. Calm down.

How you view a story like this, in light of what we know about Charlo and his MO, will tell you what kind of fan you are.

If you take Charlo seriously, and act like GGG is ducking from this, you have no credibility as a fan, and have obvious bias.

If you realize that Charlo has called out David, Jacobs, and Canelo, only to be offered the fights, and then go radio silent. Then you are a smart fan and probably pretty impartial. Choose your lane wisely, we are all watching.
