I watched an interview with GSP the other day about how he is locked into a UFC contract still. He was asked if he would Khabib outside of the UFC banner now that both are retired, as the UFC didn't want that fight while Khabib was active. But he said Dana could stop that if it would ever materialize.

Could GSP beat Oscar now just due to the fact he is fit and still trains? Oscar doesn't seem healthy in any capacity to fight. All these fights lately with ex-fighters are crazy.

I'm not arguing the point that most MMA fighters can't box, that is obvious. I never saw Crawford say he wants to compete in MMA. That was his bum of a promoter, Bob Arum, talking garbage. There was no challenge from Terence Crawford. As a matter of fact, Crawford said he wouldn't fight in MMA because they don't paid enough for what they do. I'll post a link for you to see it straight from Bud's mouth. And again, why would or should Dana put his fighters at a disadvantage against a boxer? It's not good for his brand for his fighters to lose to boxers. I'm not twisting anything. Why is Oscar calling out an MMA fighter? He said he takes on the best, didn't he? Fight one of the Charlo brothers, then. What am I twisting? Boxers insult MMA fighters quite often. I remember Bernard Hopkins talking bad about MMA fighters.

Why would Dana put his fighters at a disadvantage? At present, he won't; however, from Dana's earliest association with the UFC, he boasted that his fighters could beat boxers. Now you tell me why he said it repeatedly as all I can figure out is that Dana felt he had nothing to lose when the UFC was in its infancy and needed the publicity.

Jake Paul I could at least understand a bit I guess, an annoying Youtuber who has taken up boxing against an ex combat sports champ who can't box, actually that was terrible too but at least there was the hope Paul got knocked out.

But a retired boxer against a retired mma fighter in boxing, hard pass.

For those that say mma fighters can't out box a professional boxer, like no ****, a triathlete can't out race a professional cyclist, swimmer or runner, who knew?
