Let Oscar use his superior boxing skills against GSP's superior fighting skills. If you call yourself a fighter, you should be able to handle any combat situation.
If Dana White hadn't been challenging/insulting boxers from the start of the UFC, you might have a point; however, up until fighters such as Terence Crawford (just last year) accepted that challenge (fight both MMA and boxing), Dana White repeatedly, emphatically declared that any UFC fighter beats any boxer. Since Crawford offered to accept that challenge, a year has past without Dana White accepting it. In addition, now we see that Dana White is upset when any MMA/UFC fighter gets into the ring with a boxer or boxer wanna be. Why? Because 99% of all MMA fighters can't box (yet stand up yields the greatest success in the UFC), and that's making the UFC look bad. It wasn't the boxers/boxing community that had challenged/insulted the MMA fighters again and again, so don't try twisting this into a situation where boxers must fight in the cage. Will Dana White take up Crawford's challenge or that of Dillian Whyte for a pair of fights (one MMA and the other boxing)? Don't hold your breath.

I'm not arguing the point that most MMA fighters can't box, that is obvious. I never saw Crawford say he wants to compete in MMA. That was his bum of a promoter, Bob Arum, talking garbage. There was no challenge from Terence Crawford. As a matter of fact, Crawford said he wouldn't fight in MMA because they don't paid enough for what they do. I'll post a link for you to see it straight from Bud's mouth. And again, why would or should Dana put his fighters at a disadvantage against a boxer? It's not good for his brand for his fighters to lose to boxers. I'm not twisting anything. Why is Oscar calling out an MMA fighter? He said he takes on the best, didn't he? Fight one of the Charlo brothers, then. What am I twisting? Boxers insult MMA fighters quite often. I remember Bernard Hopkins talking bad about MMA fighters.

                    Dana stays KEEPING Fighters hungry...
But in a sense kept St. Pierre for embarrassing himself Vs. ODLH.

                    Oskie would have humiliated George.

To add to that, it’s highly unlikely St Pierre will fight in UFC again. So he’s blocking the fight just out of malice/greed. He is blocking a guy who gave UFC 15 years if fights and he helped bring fans into the sport. This is the thanks he gets.

With that said, idc about this fight, i’m complaining about the principle of the subject.
                      This.

I think it's pretty fooked up you can stop a guy from competing in a whole other sport in general regardless of what you've done or not done. I get it if he was trying to fight in Bellator or another MMA league. But he's trying to compete in a whole other sport. Idk that any contract should be able to stop someone from going to completely new professions.
