  • Is Alvarez on manny’s Ability Level?

    What do you say

manny destructed a great fighter in Barrera and dominated the very good Miguel Cotto

on the downside manny got conquered by 2 of his 3 rivals

No Manny's legend status, Canelo still working on becoming an all time great.

Wins matter more than losses, and Manny dominated Cotto. Canelo didn't even with a massive size advantage, Manny dominated him as the smaller man. No comparison. Now if Canelo goes up in weight and humiliates Beterbiev and Bivol the way Manny did with bigger guys then we have a debate.

Probably not but I like him more. He's a cool dude. Manny is a annoying oddball and thick as ****. Plus Filipino food is complete trash. Unrefined grease. If Canelo was to beat the guys a LHW then he would be right up there. Tacos are soooo nice

Canelo and Pac both started pro at 15. PAC got KO’d twice before he reached his 20’s.

          Canelo is more gangsta

He’s a better fighter technically, but he’s not as great as Pacquiao. Pacquiao’s speed, power and angles made him a once in a lifetime fighter. I highly doubt we’ll ever see a kid turn pro at 16 years old at 105, win titles from 112 to 154 and still be a champion in his 40’s. It’s an anomaly.

Na. I'd give Canelo the edge in head movement, body punching and possibly chin. But Manny is better in all other aspects including power, speed, counters, combos, stamina, footwork. His resume through age 30 is more impressive/dominant as well.

                No.

They won’t let me type a message that short, so I typed this sentence.

If Canelo can move up to 175 and beat Bivol/Beterbiev he will be an ATG.
