canelo would *** him up badly like the rest and its his own fault for not making weight, then he would be in a position to demand a fight.

The writer of this article says, "If Benavidez had a belt, Alvarez would surely have considered fighting his fellow countryman..."

Come on, give me a break. This was written a guy who was born and raised in Los Angeles who should know the difference between a Mexican and a Mexican American. Benavidez is an American, born in Arizona to an Ecuadorian mother and a Mexican father. Alvarez was born and reared in Mexico? One is Mexican and the other is not.

Now with have B sides demanding ring sizes. Thanks BJS. Going to happen every fight of Canelo's now with the opponents saying "You gave BJS what he wanted why not me? You scared of fighting in a 300ft ring?"

Sign it up and make it happen! Out of the three potential opponents for Canelo over at the PBC; I believe that David Benavidez has the best chance of winning and not only just winning but even knocking Canelo Alvarez out. He's younger, bigger, stronger and with a very high workrate. He would walk Canelo down and back him up all night long. Does Canelo have enough punching power to fight him off of him; Perhaps but only time will reveal?

Benevidez is a 1 dimensional plodder,he fights like Frankenstein, hes a big stiff bottle of syrup. Plus they don't call him chips & queso Benevidez for nothing.

He definitely would beat Plant though imo.

Doesn't matter what he thinks because he brings no value to a potential fight with Canelo and because of it, will never fight Canelo.

These dudes stay talking about Canelo but literally do nothing with their careers to warrant fighting Canelo.

In the case of Benavidez, not even holding a belt for Canelo to take.

In the case of Andrade or Charlo, sitting on their ass and not clearing out the 160 division to make a name for themselves.

Canelos defense and counter punching is too good, he will open Benavidez up all night on the inside. Will be good entertaining fight for the fans should it ever materialise... but cant Benavidez actually winning it.

When Benavidez had the belt Canelo wanted nothing to do with him
