Come on, give me a break. This was written a guy who was born and raised in Los Angeles who should know the difference between a Mexican and a Mexican American. Benavidez is an American, born in Arizona to an Ecuadorian mother and a Mexican father. Alvarez was born and reared in Mexico? One is Mexican and the other is not.

He's younger, bigger, stronger and with a very high workrate. He would walk Canelo down and back him up all night long. Benevidez is a 1 dimensional plodder,he fights like Frankenstein,hes a big stiff bottle of syrup. Plus they don't call him chips & queso Benevidez for nothing.

Doesn't matter what he thinks because he brings no value to a potential fight with Canelo and because of it, will never fight Canelo.

These dudes stay talking about Canelo but literally do nothing with their careers to warrant fighting Canelo.

Canelos defense and counter punching is too good, he will open Benavidez up all night on the inside. Will be good entertaining fight for the fans should it ever materialise... but cant Benavidez actually winning it.
