This weak MF has nothing for the top dog. Talking tough until it comes to sign then he’ll try and price himself out.

Yet you have to be paid astronomical sums of money before fighting him. Go fight Benavidez.

Plant looking to get paid and booty-busted by Canelo. Funny that he tries to dress it up as something else.

The only weakness he could have seen in that fight was Billy Joe's eye.

I've always thought that BJS was gonna be a more difficult fight for Canelo than Plant.

BJS is a better defensive fighter than Plant, this is backed up by compubox stats, I'll bring up numbers when the fighters gets signed but I'm 90% confident BJS gets hit less than Plant, also BJS is a underrated puncher, folks, look at Alvarez face after the fight, he got hit with some heavy shots by Billy. Not only that Plant is a bigger target than BJS, you know how good Canelo does against taller guys than him and Plant is an orthodox fighter which imho will make him easier to hit, specially to the body.

Only thing I do like a lot about Plant is his jab and his left hook, that stiff, fast jab is a great punch and the left hook is also a great punch, need to do some film study but I do remember his hook doesn't have long coverage, it's a short one like Callum's one.

Plant is a great fighter but I don't see anything to make me think believe that he has a shot against Canelo, BJS was a more dificult style to beat, crossing my fingers this gets signed.

Plant can box and fight a bit but can he maintain the pace of Canelo throwing wicked shots for 12 rounds is the ?, I like when Plant puts his shots together and he does have sweet hands but they are not powerful! I think Plant isn’t on the level of Canelo yet and May never be but because he’s a man and believe in himself, I’ll root for him to pull off the upset because Canelo will without a doubt be the favorite. May the fight be made and May the best man, win!

If this is how Caleb Plant truly feels then this fight should be signed in no time. No need to be difficult in negotiations if you’re that confident in yourself.

If anyone at supermiddle was gonna beat him it was bjs, every boxer for the past 2 years has been saying the same thing before they fight nelo, I see weaknesses and such, but it's always the same outcome.. the way nelo took out bjs was actually ridiculously impressive, saunders was coming into the fight nicely and most impartial people viewing it had him either up by a round or at 4-4 after the brutal 8thriund, but nelo saw saunders ducking low after engaging and timed an uppercut to perfection, if he hadn't of worked that out he probably would have lost the fight, lost it like he did Golovkin but obvs he won that on cards but u know what I mean, the ppl would have known who won really, but again he figured it out and ultimately won and there's no way plant is doing anything in this fight, he's like the poor man's bjs so it won't go further than 6 rounds and if he reaches that it will be an achievement in itself the way nelo looks in the ring these days
