How badly did Fury permanently ruin wilder?

Only time will tell. However, what Fury needs to guard against is complacency and overconfidence because he won so easily the last time. Chances are he might not be as dedicated, hungry or as committed as in their last fight.

I may be wrong but I just don't see Deontay Wilder as a broken fighter. I believe that the hunger and desire is still there too succeed. Sure, physically he may very well be a damaged fighter but not spiritually. He still believes in himself.Comment

Took all his hardest shots? He got hit like twice and went down. I wouldn't say that is taking them to be fair. Wilder is a one trick pony. You'd think over the years someone would have taught him a few more, but no. Probably too late now, he's set in his ways with a massive ego. That's the problem, his ego. Everyone else is to blame apart from him. If he can't accept that he fell short then he isn't willing to improve.Last edited by Robbie Barrett; 05-14-2021, 12:50 AM.Comment

Wilder needs an even playing field. If the governing bodies are going to constantly allow Fury to tamper with and load his gloves then he is going to be very hard to beat. Both of Fury's two official knockdowns were a result of fouls. One came as a result from a rabbit punch and the other was caused by a trip.Took all his hardest shots? What a load of bollocks. How can he have put something in his gloves when surrounded by officials and a member of team Wilder? To be a rabbit punch (foul) it needs to be intentional. Wilder was finished stumbling around like a drunk, he wasn't going to win that fight, he had nothing left. So trip or legit KD doesn't even matter, it probably helped in by giving him a rest.Wilder needs an even playing field.
