That was a tough fight for Taylor. I had him as the clear winner but you could see Prograis punches getting to him and having an effect. For his credit he showed mental toughness and an ability to adjust.

I'm just hoping Josh's eyeballs hold up. He should have quit vs Prograis by some standards.

As much as it has been difficult for British fighters lately, Taylor needs to be humbled a bit. Not an endearing character to say the least.

I’m sorry my Brit friends, but Ramirez will win this one. Too young, too hungry, and too strong. I foresee a stoppage in the 10-11 with Taylor not answering barrages of punches from Ramirez and the ref waving the fight off.

True... But in boxing anyone can be K.Oed, including Taylor.

True - and if Taylor's hugely swollen eye had busted open in the Prograis fight, that would have been a KO loss. I've seen fighters over the years I thought were unstoppable all change in a single fight.

I don’t want to be judging someone on one fight after a long layoff but Ramirez is a plodder who will get hurt by Taylor. He couldn’t fully figure Postol over 12 rounds which JT did.
Obviously JT is a bit reckless and might get KO’d but I can’t see that . I reckon Ramirez will quit

He didn’t look too beaten up when he fought his next fight !

i agree that Regis took his toll but Jose is a crude plodder type fighter who stands still and relies on power. I think Prograis is the tougher fight.

It will be a good/close fight because they’re both good champions

He's not from the UK. He's Scottish. That's what they told me.

Agreed. Can't stand the prick. Not sure if it would be by Ramirez.
