It kinda sucks that this fight wont happen this year. At least the Klits are fine with not having there fights always on premium networks so more fans can see them.

        Two things

        1. I'm confused. Wlad's quote doesn't seem to align with the story. They're saying the fight is being pushed back because of HBO but Wlad is saying his fights are available for free in America. Which is it?

        2. HBO is really screwing the sport right now. This year has been useless for the most part because HBO doesn't have money. Fighters like Mosley have been sidelined because they can't find a date on HBO, and it's really making it tough to know where everything stands. I mean how many fights can you push back to first quarter of 2010 because they jerks off blew their load too early in 09? One things for sure, 2010 will start with a ****!

It would be nice to have Wlad fighting a bit more often. First he was ****ed around by David Haye and then injured. The amount of money they (the Klitschkos) recieve from German television rights usually swamps what HBO gives anyways, so using ESPN in America is much easier to do for them. But having ESPN is nice for fighters for exposure, but network TV like ABC, CBS, and NBC really need to get back into the game. They have the money and a much broader audience than HBO and could greatly affect the popularity of the sport. Thankfully for us fans the Klitschkos have great support in Germany so we are able to see them all the time with or without HBO. And letting it be known that waiting for HBO to give them dates is unacceptable, makes it ok for other fighters to think the same way. Only if they (other fighters) could just generate the money like Vitali and Wladimir can.

So Chambers isn't gunna fight for 6 more months?
He should atleast take some kind of fight before than. I dunno that is just my opinion, I don't like it when these fighters only fight every 6 7 8 months.

That makes only one fight for Wlad in 2008 and nine months of rust before his next. At 33 years of age, I'd like to see him a bit more active with the last year or two of his prime.

Chambers should have a tune up before hand.

I think Chambers should take a keep busy fight between now and then to stay fresh.

Yeah, Eddie is in the best shape of his life right now. At less than 210, he could feasibly hold titles at CW and HW at the same time, if he really tried.
