For everyone out there who is still ****** enough to believe that Bud is the one who won't fight Porter or Spence.
He probably wants to align them one by one still undefeated vs Canelo in order to get 3 big paychecks.

That's what happens since most boxing fans are morons and thow fighters under the bus anytime they get a loss.

I try not to comment on a fighters "heart" if I can help it, especially with all the complications between promotors/advisers/networks, but it's hard to argue against your point when the younger Charlo at 154 seems to take on ALL the threats in his division. Big brother is wasting valuable years of his prime.

Charlo is definitely taking on the biggest, most challenging, legacy defining fights!

Al Haymon doesn't have any idea of how to help his fighters become bigger attractions.

            His matchmaking sucks.

On this I agree with you here. He does SOMETIMES do a good job, but this is when all of the top fighters are in house. One example is the 154 pound division which Al Haymon has done a fantastic job with, but that's because he has all of the top talent there. Same with 147. However, the second someone from another promotion stable wants in on the action, he immediately shuts them out because he can't let someone else get their shine.

Benavides is willing, able, and waiting, and this dude takes another gimme fight. I'm shocked I tell you..... Where's TMT and Jab Jab Whimper, to defend this?

Charlo is a very good fighter so it takes very good opposition to make for a very good fight but Al Haymon has his own business model and that is to have his very good fighters dazzling through dominance of 2nd tier opposition.

Haymon plays to the bigger casual market who don't realise just how crap a match up like this is, the true Boxing fans are far from impressed with this type of fight but he hopes the shows of dominance will convince the casuals that Charlo is a worthy PPV super star.
