Hurd had one of the most honorable runs in boxing. Much better than the faces of the sport today. He wanted to be the first to KO Austin Trout and this is what he did. Jarrett Hurd took on Lara exactly because Lara was supposed to be boring and hard to look good agains, yet he won in spectacular fashion. Then defends his belt against J-Roc. He picks 1 division, a VERY HARD division, and takes on all comers.

Unlike the faces of the sport Jarrett Hurt fights with HONOR and INTEGRITY and we need more people like him.

I think Jarrett Hurd vs. any of the top 2-3 are pick'm fights, but I'm not sure if he can beat J-Rock, William's qualities are all wrong for Hurd.
Yeah I agree, it’s just a terrible style matchup for him. Hurd is strong dude but he doesn’t have that explosive power like Jermall or Rosario that you need to beat J-Rock.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Although I think Hurd needs to move to 160, if he wants to make noise again @ 154, then Fundora is the way to go!

Can he still comfortably make 154? He's one of the biggest drainers in boxing, dude is huge for the weight.

Hurd got out skilled by Williams. He would have to fight one of many fighters at 154 with similar skills or rematch Williams. He would make a better case for himself and would know what to work on. I wouldn't mind seeing him against Charlo any time but I think it would make the fight better.

That would be an all-out war that I could see Hurd winning, especially after seeing how a lesser fighter in Jorge Cota was tagging Fundora.

Yeah Hurd definitely has a strong resume and he deserves respect for taking on tough challenges

I'd like to see Hurd vs Munguia at 160

Nope to get called the best at 154, all he needs to do is beat Jermell.
