Ruiz needs fights with guys like Wilder not Wilders left overs x2. Like the Arreola fight it is lose lose. If Ruiz beats Ortiz no one cares it is a small payday and waste of time, if he loses to Ortiz his career is in the toilet. Dillian Whyte would be the best choice they should be hyping that fight now or Wilder or Helenius or Wallin in house. Ortiz style is way different than any top guys also does not help Ruiz prepare for those guys.

What is uncle Al doing with these people? Why not just let them go?
Kownacki was supposed to be having a rematch with Helenius. A few months ago there was talk like it’s a done deal and then nothing else was said about it.

PBC guys fight about once a year.

I think Ortiz beats Ruiz and I really think so now. Only question is Ortiz legs gone.

"he is a much superior boxer than Ruiz" .. based on what ? what has he done, who has he out boxed ? no amateur record to speak off, beat no one, What am I missing ?

I guess I never forgave him for the Malik Scott fight .. watch that on youtube tonight and then tell me this is a superior boxer.

Ortiz is like 100 now and inactive. Ruiz should take it. I expect to things the reynoso camp telling him not to take it and it'll also be ppv

The malik fight was bad, no doubt, but look at how he schooled Jennings, back when Jennings was a hot up-and-coming fighter. He was also outboxing wilder twice before getting stopped. Not sure how you rate hammer and Kauffman, but no one ever dominated them the way Ortiz did. Besides, who has Ruiz fought to say he wont get dominated? Not like he has a resume full of champions either.

I was thinking the same. Hard to see haymon throwing Ruiz to King Kong without cashing in at least once more.
