Floyds power is largely overlooked. I have a feeling now hes healed and rested, hes going to let his hands go once again.

I do know that at 130, his power was like an 8.5.

I don't know about this weight thing,Oscar said after the Mayorga fight that Gatti was the hardest puncher he faced ,he repeated that on his blog on the ringmagazine.com(Oscars the top ten I fought),Gatti was a HUGE puncher at 130 ,I remember 2 ocassions in Gatti fights where the opponents went out on stretchers before the third round and never fought again,Gamache and Munoz.Even iron chinned Micky Ward got dropped by Gatti and had problems for 6 months after the fight because of double vision.I think Mayweather had more quick snappy punches ,not heavy handed, but could take a toll after a number of rounds.Fighters like Gatti,Tyson,Corralles, they set on their punches more and completly disregard whats coming back while their throwing their own bombs which allows them to keep their feet planted and generates more power.Mayweather rarely sets his feet and punches ,it seems he's a little to concerend wioth NOT GETTING hit to really set those feet and bomb away.
