How much power does Floyd have?

He has more speed than he does power... I'd say around 7.. But then again I've never been hit by Floyd Mayweather Jr... Just assuming here.

you would have to be insane to say he hurt DLH more than Pacquiao. Even DLH said Floyd doesn't hit very hard. Pacquiao was 30 seconds away from putting DLH away. Everytime he landed that left DLH's head went flying back.

Are you talking about the same DLH who HANDPICKED Floyd's gloves for the fight and gave him the softest no-name 10-ounce gloves he could find. If Floyd had had 8-ounce Reyes gloves like Pacquaio instead of the 10-ounce no name gloves that he had against DLH, I am sure DLH wouldn't have said that.

Was having this arguement with a friend he said Floyd was pretty much featherfisted and lacks power i disagree. I know he has had problems with his hands in the past but Floyd has knocked out/down some guys with decent chins and whilst going up in weight

Such as Corrales, Hatton, Gatti etc, he also buckled Dela Hoya and hurt him more than Pacman imo. Admitedly his last 3 fights prior Hatton was all Sd or UD rather then KO but they were either vs full blown WW or higher.

So i was wondering on a scale of 1-10 what kind of rating would you give Floyd? myself would be an 7 or 8, i think he has a good chance to knock either Marquez/Pac out when he faces them. Lets be honest when you are not planting your feet and potshotting your not gonna KO guys like Oscar or Baldo. I just think Floyds power is really underated..

at 135 and below floyd has very good power.
