Ginger finally beats a decent opponent and they go ape shlt like its such a great feat. Ginger was looking foolish completely missing alot of his shots and looked as ****** as tank did with lsc throwing and missing all those uppercuts. But at least tank landed his. Ginger landed a good shot and caved in billys face (where tf did this power come from anyway?) Carnelo was never a big puncher and suddenly one good shot stops a good opponent? Fury & AJ are about to take over boxing. Hopefully AJ can put up a good enough fight to warrant a rematch.

It’s hard to fault Canelo fans for this. Literally every above average win causes some fans of a top fighter, usually the very worst ones, to elevate that boxer above Floyd.
Manny, Loma, canelo, fury, Crawford , AJ, etc etc all have fans that have done it.
I think it would be best if this type of stuff ceased.Comment

Its actually a pretty accurate reflection. Froid and roidnelo always had the ******est fanbase while golovkin and pac had the more level headed ones.
I saw this coming obviously dont know how anyone else didn't. Mayweather fans are canelo fans cause he humiliated ginger while canelo fans aren't fans of Mayweather.Comment

Canelo is making 35 million for every regular fight he has from this point moving forward. fighting big names will give him at least double that. if he does indeed go on till he is 37 he can overtake mayweather. If Fury and Joshua fight twice and then go on to fight 3-4 more years they can get there aswell.

But who are the big names? It takes a long time to build a name in boxing at the super fight level. I just don’t see Canelo, especially if it’s 168 or nothing being able to create many of these huge mega fights. It’s not his fault. Beterbiev is his biggest threat in the ring and he’d have to move down. Not that that is even worth a lot of money compared to the risk. Other champs would have to move up. Anyone else getting to a threat level at 168 would be beating Canelo’s leftovers to get there right? None would be holding a belt. It took five years for Floyd vs Manny to happen. No Canelo fight will come close to generating that level of money even with inflation. Floyd makes insane money in exhibitions. The better Canelo does the better Floyd looks. I think Canelo is P4P and I’d love to see him again the all time greats. I think he has a real shot vs Beterbiev too and I’m cdn. He’s going to almost have to have a war with someone to generate a huge rematch. Far beyond what he did with GGG. I think he’s The Pope. He just needs that huge foil in his prime.
