Mares' last fight was one of his most complete performances i have seen him in. Even more impressive after his long lay-off. Donaire has shown he has the tools to be the best of his weight, but his last performance, with the showboating RJJ-esque fightplan did not favour his best attributes. Donaire could have had Concepcion out within 8 rounds if he bought his A-game to the table, but messed around for a decision.

As for this fight taking place, i would love to see it, but Mares right now needs a couple more fights before taking the elites on. I'm impressed in what i've seen, but maybe it's too soon.

As for Donaire, what happened to the Arce fight rumours? I'd rather have that fight first. See Arce go out in style.

YESSSS!!!!! Effin do it!!!!! Donaire by KO. Funny how people are talkin about Donaire being protected when Mares has faced **** competition his whole career. At least Donaire has KOs over Darchinyan and Maldonado.
