I have to agree with Demetrius Andrade, knowledgeable fans of the sweet-science were studying Billy Joe Saunders tactics during the fight, I for one cringed at such low-level boxing -- that cant even be called European style, because the Euro's box straight up and long, I dont know what that was. Billy-Hoe was fighting like a scared amateur is a good way to put it.

Saunders green reactions, did not make it difficult for Saul Alvarez to find the means to effectively exploit his flawed defense. Andrade's detractors will not accept that 'Boo-Boo' would actually compete with Saul Alvarez, the comments that suggest that Billy Joe put up a fight made me laugh. This insightful quote from Andrade reinforces my confidence in WBO middleweight champion, his knowledge is at a greater level than that Euro-Bum, Billy Hoe Saunders.

Andrade is right, Saunders never made adjustments because he can't. Billy Joe did what he always does and thought it would be enough. Canelo, or should I say Renoso picked up on BJS's habit of ducking under and dipping to the same side over and over again and again. Like Fury, BJS ducks under hooks and it works with head hunters like Wider and David Lemieux but Canelo is more than a head hunter and his most effective punch just happens to be a quick, in close, uppercut. The uppercut missed a lot but team Canelo stuck with it knowing that just like Fury, BJS doesn't have the power to keep him off and he would eventually lie on the ropes and do his ducking thing.

It's not complicated, every fighter watching knew it was coming.

It’s like Mike Tyson once said they all have a game plan until they get hit in the face....much the same here , BJ is a very good fighter but Canelo is exceptional

Andrade can try and make it sound as if he has the game plan to beat Canelo. It’s always easier said than done. Andrade stands no chance against Canelo in my opinion.

Canelo may well be the guy to beat Andrade but make no mistake, Andrade is a far more difficult task than BJS. He has power enough to keep from getting trapped on the ropes and even though he has habits like every other fighter he's awkward and difficult to time. Andrade is big with a very, very difficult style.

This actually isnt true.

Saunders was initially shelled up and cautious. Canelo made sure to hit him to the body and arms and as Roy Jones said, this is so they can feel his power, even if it doesnt land on the chin right away when they feel the power and its more than they thought a former junior middle should have, it makes them weary and stay shelled up. Saunders adjusted in the mid rounds and found his stride, completely contrary to what hating Andrande is saying. He won some rounds and he had more success opening up, trying to stay on the outside and he was ducking some winging hooks that canelo was throwing. Canelo noticed the bending down real low and went back to the upper cut and one of them ended the fight.

Canelo is just a much better fighter than saunders or andrade or anyone out there today. Saunders had his moments but he isnt a roy jones or calzaghe so his punching on the outside hands low tactic only worked so long before canelo adapted and found a way.

Just because you posted 3 gifs of Saunders bending into Alvarez uppercuts doesn't mean you or Andrade is right, everyone is gonna get hit with some shots in a boxing match, even a defensive genius like Mayweather got hit by a telegraphed right Alvarez overhand, Andrade and hsi supporters can whine and put 100 gifs to try to prove all the boxing community that Demetrius would be Canelo's most difficult challenge.

If Saunders was leaning forward is because Alvarez is so good a hitting the body and so deceptive with his feints that he makes you think wether a head or a body shot is coming, natural relfexes will act natural if you been hit with some heavy artillery on the body, it's totally diferent saying you would do X and you would do Y, being in there is what matters, now to Andrade supporters I got bad new for you, Andrade is a guy who loves to bend to the sides, I'm very confident that if he were to fight Alvarez, once he feels those body shots he will have to bend forward to protect his liver, not only that, the guy doesn't react well to pressure, Williams made him uncomfortable on some spots in their fight and I'm very possitive he hurted him with a straight right hand.

Alvarez would be putting what Williams put but 3x times better, better faints, better shots, heavier shots, Andrade is a great fighter but you gotta be joking yourself if you favor him hugely to beat Canelo, he could, but I wouldn't bet on it, BJS to me was a harder challenge than Andrade, just my opinion, not a expert but I do think I know what I talk.

Sorry Andrade, you can’t fight with the big boys. You’re strong and athletic but have very poor boxing skills. Even Charlo will whip ya.

I don't know what skill these guys are talking about. Booboo has a weak jab, underwhelming power, and run around footwork. He's not seek and destroy, he's avoid and pot shot. He'll bore us to death winning his way, but I think Canelo walks through him.

I totally agree with Andrade, however that is easier said than done because Canelo always coming and coming hard! The problem I see with many fighters facing Canelo, they don’t take away his offense by making him miss or counter effectively like Floyd did. It’s one thing to talk about it but running won’t get the job done, you have to sit in the pocket and make him miss and counter well he always throw hard and Floyd had him tired and that was a blue print but he’s so much better than then and more powerful. Andrade is a runner and it will be hard for a complete runner with ok power and countering abilities to beat him, I’m just saying!
