Is Frank Sanchez just another Cuban Heavyweight dud?

Guy says he is 24-years-old but looks early 40s. Is there a lot of pollution down there in Cuba? Do they smoke from childhood? Apparently Frank is "coming for Fury's belts!" However, in struggling against Nagy Aguilera, before ending the fight with an umpteenth rabbit punch, he didn't really strike any fear into the heart with his performance. Did anyone pick up on that weird cross-over defensive move he kept doing? Was one of the weirdest things, offered no benefit whatsoever the way he was doing it. Seemed more like a tic than a conscious move. Anybody hyping this fighter? I bet some of you Canelo nuthuggers love him already.

After the journeyman got caught with the shot as he was complaining he lost his temper and went for it . Put it on sanchez for a bruef moment, sanchez didnt like the pressure at all. I dont see him becoming a top 10 heavyweight

Yea I noticed that too. Funny how Aguilera fought negatively the whole fight, but when he got mad he actually tried to be the aggressor, and it worked. Shame he didn't keep it up. Sanchez throwing one of his best punches of the fight whilst his opponent's hands were down was also a weak look.

Yes he seemed like he forgot his role as journeyman for a while and tried to win. I agree that wasn't a good look from Sanchez at all

          I thought he was 28?

          he’s lowered it to 24?

          he’s about 37

I noticed that early in the fight, I think he has some weird twitch, watch his hands while he's in the corner - he kept crossing them on his lap the same way he was doing during the fight. A better opponent might read that and time him while he's doing it.

As for his performance, while he had his moments, there was little in terms of clean, accurate punching. Most of his shots seemed to graze the target, even the one Aguilera was complaining about at the end seemed to graze off his shoulder. When Aguilera started putting pressure on, Sanchez looked uncomfortable with the pressure and seemed less confident fighting while being backed up.

So yeah, I wasn't very impressed.
