Amir Khan for as long as his effort lasted? In my opinion performed better than Billy Joe Saunders.

But Saunders still performed well 'Just was not strong enough physically'.

Cenelo was trying to time that shot from very early on but you can't deny that BJS made him miss a lot and had out landed him up until the 8th rd in what was a competitive fight

Huh? He arguably won more than half the rounds and I'm willing to get had landed more shots than Canelo. I know the result was a tko but that certainly wasn't an out classing as you suggest

The fact is canelo due to his upbringing, ability , natural toughness, experience, precisely orchestrated career , residual fitness and the higher quality of opponent always had Saunders number , that’s why he didn’t give a **** about ring size , Saunders and his ontarage signed his death warrant with his disrespectful lack of respect and crassness during fight week . He never lost control from the 1st bell , walked him down found the target and Saunders felt the power and backed away . Canelo knew the gap would close and the punishment would start , Saunders as Hearn said would have been severely in the last third , this was personal and although Saunders had to stop due to injury he were just starting to get bashed up by the far superior all round fighter . No shame in it just a fact . What his trainer is in in about I don’t know , must have been watching a different fight . Man to ask is Tyson fury he’s always honest about fights and the outcome

It’s fine for the trainer to see what he saw. And from the champions point of view(?) - he should be seeing the same thing. It’s what champions do. Who cares what others see when you’ve prepared with a plan. I just don’t believe they anticipated such power from Canelo. The power was breaking Billy down slowly but surely. An argument can be made for either side about momentum.....but Canelo flat out ended that argument.....definitely the better fighter.

I had a feeling that this was what was going to happen. BJS was building momentum as effectively as honeybees attacking a hungry bear. Yes, BJS was hitting Canelo; however, BJS may as well not have bothered as Canelo simply wasn't affected by it. Or perhaps BJS was the toddler play fighting with daddy -- not that BJS knew this, but once again, that's about how effective BJS' punches were. If I got one thing from this fight, it was that Canelo might well be tough enough to take on Artur Beterbiev, and I'm not kidding; I'd love to see him give it a try. One other thing: whether or not Canelo is fleet of foot, he reminded me of both Frankensteins' monster and the Mummy. You know, moving at a pace that his victim should be able to escape from, yet his victim simply could not escape his fate. And in this case, BJS's fate was quite likely a career ending beating.

No he really wasn’t. I only gave BJS the 5th and 6. He built up a bit of momentum in the 7th but then he got the brakes beat off of him in the 8th. Canelo showed that BJS wasn’t anywhere near his level. BJS was outclassed.

I must have missed this momentum he was building. He didn’t look a threat to start dictating the fight at any point. He landed a few good shots, but was mostly reacting to canelo’s movement and feints.

Momentum to fall hahahaha....the crybaby deserved to lose and he quit like a coward. he totally disrespected Canelo, the fans, other boxer with the same injury, the media, Mexicans, etc. He insulted people, so glad he got what he deserved and received the beating of his life. If this clown returns to boxing, I hope he fights David Benavidez, who would also chase him like he stole something around the ring and give him a beating. Sorry Brits, on the other side of the pond the game the game is tougher.
