Americans and Mexicans are Anglophiles at heart. Mexicans went crazy when Fergie came to town. All a guy has to do is, show up speaking the queens English and he gets all the close rounds. The only way a Mexican is going to beat an Englishman is by knock out. When is the last time a Mexican won a decision? If Saunders took off running and never engaged after he got hurt, he would have won the fight. Take that to the bank.

Canelo was throwing rocks, Saunders was swatting away flies.

If I am a judge, I privilege the rocks any time.

And no, I'm no Canelo fan.

I gave BJS 2 rounds, but I could see 3. So it was a 6-2 or 5-3 fight when it was stopped, same as the judges ring side saw it. And then Canelo ended BJS's career with 1 punch, so there's that to consider too.

I saw a momentum shift towards Canelo before the punch to the eye. Canelo was getting to Saunders.

Exacty...The only sad thing here if you are ahead of canelo, you cant expect that on the scorecards. SOmetimes i just hope all the judges will have covid and replace with creditble new ones.

But BJS bent down into the punch . . . so, really, it was BJS's body movement that caused his face to break...er, um, not break...but withstand an unfortunate injury.

I hate when fights end this way. Nel o won in a way that's not much different than an eye poke. Only saving grace is nel o was going to win anyway if scorecards were to be believed

You got the wrong one there, big guy.
