Dude is tripping he told that to TMZ when he came out of the fight, he said it was boring.

First fight was pretty boring apart from knockdowns. The rest was just Fury controlling and out boxing Wilder without doing too much because he was 50% fit. Last round was great though.
As for the second fight....Well I guess you could say it was if you wanted a competitive back and forth because it was a one sided annihilation. Hard to say it was boring. It was exciting but uncompetitive.Comment

No fight is boring if? You are invested in the fighter.First fight was pretty boring apart from knockdowns. The rest was just Fury controlling and out boxing Wilder without doing too much because he was 50% fit. Last round was great though.

Casual fans are not deeply invested in anything, people in general today are not invested in much 'That is why people watch the news, to get a kick out of watching wars and people in misery'.
I know for a fact that you, from start to finish was on edge during Fury vs Wilder I.
I was the same when David Haye fought Wladimir Kiltschko.
People's perceptions change when the are invested or genuine fans etc

Yeah, I fully agree

i mean for the casual viewer, fights can be seen as boring because they want to see 2 people swinging away. So even the second Fury v Wilder fight could be boring if you don’t understand much because it’s not competitive. For me both fights were gripping, in different ways. The first fight was fascinating because of what we saw in the 12th, you never knew if it was gonna happen or not at any point in the fight because of Wilders power.
even Pac v Floyd I was on edge for the full fight, even though most felt it was boring, but as a boxing fan you’re invested and waiting to see if something is going to catch fire.
I agree with Haye v Wlad actually, there was always that thought of what happens if Haye does actually end up connecting.
In hindsight it can seem boring, but I’m rarely bored when watching any big fight in real time.Comment

If you aren’t a boxing fan, both fights were insanely boring.
I love boxing and follow boxing but just think of a regular person’s point of view.
The first fight had two dramatic moments in an hour of air time.
The second fight was completely one sided and was the equivalent to a 56-7 football game or a 128-75 basketball game.
Every regular person is spending a lot of time playing on their phones during those fights. Just being honest.Comment

So we can enjoy fights because we are fans of the sport, but then? There is another level, and that is what I am touching upon.
Yeah, I fully agree

What you have with Tyson Fury, once he disappears, is beaten or retires 'That type of rapport, you may never experience again'. Reason why I say this is because you are a adult, it is different when you are a kid. More impressionable maybe, I can be cold towards athletes these days.
David Haye was the last real fighter I had a rapport with, if he lost? I would be devastated, I would get over it but 'I would be affected for a week or so'.
I still don't like how his career ended, and I also see how those defeats affected him 'Haye is too matey matey these days, and he is like this because of those loses'.
Deep down, I think he still dislike's Tony Bellew.
