dawson versus cloud

ok got a little inside info on this one, i have been in top rank gym i vegas when eddie mustafa muhammed was training dawson and dawson was sparring a strong but very limited middle weight named carl ****erham. ****erham has got a little power but no teq to back it up, dawson was boxing his ears off but carl kept comming and landed a good right hand and then he landed it again almost dropped dawson and eddie stop the sparring. from what ive seen with that cloud is he might be a little raw but his teq is good he has power and will keep comming. 12 rounds is a long time not to get hit flush, too long. cloud will catch him in the end. look what glen did to him and glen does not nearly throw as many or as hard as cloud.

cloud by brutal stoppage. why? because in my honest opinion dawson lacks concentration and mental toughness. woods is not as good as dawson but unquestionably has a better chin and he was struggling to take cloud's punches throughout the fight. cloud has a leaky defence but remember he was taking the biggest step up in his career coming off a full year layoff, i expected woods to expose some of cloud's flaws, i would put alot of money on cloud to knock dawson out. you best believe that. dawson folds under pressure around the 7th round, gets trapped on the ropes and takes flush shot after flush shot and collapses and the referee jumps in and stops it.

Dawson UD. Cloud isn't experienced enough yet imo, though i think he would hurt Dawson id they fought.

I think Johnson was a bad match up for him at that time. I don't think Dawson was ready for someone coming at him for 12 rounds as he is usually the more aggressive one in fights. He'll make his adjustments and win a clearer decision the 2nd time around.

Jean Pascal is a very pleasing fighter to watch but he doesn't have a lot of power. His defense is pretty weak too.
