Dirrell Says That He Can Take Froch's Punches

This should be a very good fight... I think that Andre Dirrell will arrive on Oct. 10th. Froch is a bit underrated in my opinion... but I think Dirrell has levels of potential that Froch will never be capable of reaching... question is whether Dirrell will "arrive" on Oct. 10th or will he be stung by the Cobra

This is a huge step up for Dirrell he is going straight from fighting cans to a world class opponent. It is hard to determine how good Dirrell really is because the guys he has been fighting are intended to make him look give and give him some experience. Dirrell has been in too soft as of now and right before stepping up to an opponent of this caliber and I think he will be in for a surprise.

I kind of see this as a replay of the Curtis Stevens fight where he is too quick for his opponent but manages to bore the **** out of the world winning an ugly decision not engaging and potshotting.

If he trades with Froch it could get interesting, but Froch is so damn slow and Dirrell is petrified of power so Dirrell can outquick him all night without winning any fans... and could steal the decision.

If they go at it in the center of the ring, your scenario would work, just don't think it's gonna happen that way.

It wont be like the Stevens fight, Dirrell will test Froch and unload on him, Im willing to bet that.

Na!!!!!!!! People are putting too muh into this so called Dirrell superior skills, and the only thing he have is speed, he is always off balance , and he gasses out pretty quick and that is fighting C level guys, Froch might not be a stylistic guy, but he sure knows how to put lots of pressure and time peoples shots, plus his great chin.

Dirrel gets hit plenty, so Froch can land and he only needs a couple of shots, to hurt Dirrel.

If this Was the other Andre, ill give him a way bigger chance, but you guys are thinking of dirrel, like he was a master defense boxer, wich is totally wrong, because he is a swarmer slugger with speed:

froch will connect sooner or later.... froch isnt a devasting puncher by any means... but he will be dirrels toughest opponent yet, i see froch having a horrible time with this guy for the first 6-7 rounds then froch will connect with someting big and down will go this contender... imo.

You know that Dirrell got Floored by alfonso rocha right? and that guy hits WAY less hard than froch and he was so shocked that he floored dirrell that he didnt know what to do, Dirrell was finished but he got let off the hook.

Froch hits harder and faster than rocha, and Dirrell isnt even that hard to hit, he can try and hit and run but he cant run all night and once he starts getting slugged its lights out.

Froch didnt beat guys like reid, pascall and taylor by fluke you know
