Dirrell Says That He Can Take Froch's Punches

There have been some questions regarding Andre Dirrell's ability to take a punch from the heavy hitting WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch. The challenger is pretty confident about his ability to take Froch's punch on October 17 in Nottingham. Dirrell watched the fight against Jermain Taylor and he didn't think Taylor was in the right physical condition to finish the fight. [details]

He better be able to. Though he's faster and more agile than Froch, he'll get tagged atleast once during the fight.

I don't think so. As long as Dirrell keeps a range from Froch not taking any flush shots, he should be able to win a decision. He doesn't even want to risk taking a shot. He should stick to what works for him, speed and movement......that is enough a chance to take home a win.

I still have a late stoppage in favour of Froch, as unbiased as i can be.

Dirrell needs to shut his mouth right about now..and let his hands do the talking..I got Dirrell winning..but when you hype yourself too much this early in a boxing career..you tend to feel unstoppable and believe your own hype..

Dirrell needs to be humble from here on out and worry about Froch when he takes him to deep waters in the later rounds!!
