Canelo arguably lost his two biggest fights. And arguably should have got a draw in the rematch.

His defining wins all been controversial you can't compare him to Floyd who dominated most if his defining wins
Exatly what I was thinking in his 3 biggest fights (Floyd Mayweather, GGG 2x) he either lost clearly or got a questionable result

At age 30, Canelo has better wins than what Mayweather had at age 30.

Nobody on 30 year old Mayweather's resume is better than that GGG win.

A lot of people are now realizing canelo is greater than Floyd and he’s still only 30.

When you talk about greatness you have to look at WHO they fought and WHEN they fought them. Both Canelo and Floyd have been duckers throughout their careers.

GGG beat Canelo in the first fight and if you want to be VERY generous in the second fight you could give Canelo a draw. If you don't KO Canelo in Vegas you can forget about getting a decision. He is the goose that lays the golden egg and judges aren't going to be allowed to give up those paydays.

Floyd is the more talented fighter and has better abilities but I like how Canelo has never taken a long break and is looking to become undisputed, something Floyd Mayweather JR never has. Canelos win over GGG is better than any single Mayweather win, at least on paper.

Floyd had a lot more good wins and a lot less questionable fights (Lara, GGG 1 & 2). Let's face it whenever Canelo has stepped up he hasn't been as dominant and has either lost or been in controversial decisions. (Floyd, GGG, GGG 2). It seems unlikely that Canelo will be considered better than Floyd when their careers are over by me and by the general public.

Ok, if we're going that route, then Mayweather lost to Castillo, De la Hoya and Judah (DQ loss) by the age of 30.

I feel really bad when the greatest fighter in current generation has a backstory of using steroid
