No logical reason not to. Canelo wants it. Presumably Plant will use that leverage, but only he his team can ensure they dont cross the line.

strange case where "B side" has leverage. If Plant wants it, its his. He doesnt or demands say 90% of the purse or a 40 ft ring, well, that would speak volumes about what he wants from his career.

I think it's very important for both companies to get this fight on their platform. If Plant ends up fighting on DAZN it sends a message that PBC are just a feeder promotion. All of their 160-168 fighters would be regarded as B side fodder for Canelo and DAZN.

If DAZN loses Canelo, what exactly are you getting for your 20$ a month? Losing both Canelo and Golden Boy? They'd be in a tough position to attract subscribers in the USA.

We'll find out how committed each company is to boxing.
