Rank The Following Fights YOU Prefer For Canelo

Beterbiev
Bivol
GGG 3
Charlo
Plant
Andrade
Benavidez.
That’s irrespective of belts, chronology etc and largely based on which fights I’d find the most interesting and also entertaining.
Any of the 7 is a good opponent in fairness.Comment

1. Plant (in order to unify all the 168 lb belts)
2. The winner of Charlo vs Benavidez (so that an attractive challenger emerges)
3. The winner of Andrade vs Golovkin (these guys have to fight someone already)
4. The winner of Beterbiev vs Bivol (if Canelo is expected to fight at a disadvantage at 175 lbs then at least let it be against a unified champion)Comment

I think that fight would be the most competitive and it’s possibly the only one I see him potentially losing. If I’m honest I just don’t see Plant, Andrade or Benavidez even testing him. Other guys I see troubling him but I can’t really see them winning.
I wouldn’t demand he fights Beterbiev though, he’s giving up a lot of size facing Beterbiev at 175, but if it’s a case of which one I’d most like to see it would have to be Canelo-Beterbiev for me.Comment

Problem is the vast majority of these guys aren’t gonna risk losing their place in the Canelo sweepstakes. There’s a lot of guys between 160-175 who are just content taking easier fights and hoping they get the Canelo call.1. Plant (in order to unify all the 168 lb belts)
2. The winner of Charlo vs Benavidez (so that an attractive challenger emerges)
3. The winner of Andrade vs Golovkin (these guys have to fight someone already)
4. The winner of Beterbiev vs Bivol (if Canelo is expected to fight at a disadvantage at 175 lbs then at least let it be against a unified champion)
You’re totally right though, if GGG/Charlo/Andrade/Benavidez etc fought, us fans would be clamouring for Canelo to face the winner.Comment
