Andrade should fight GGG at 168 this summer.

They both want a Canelo fight. Once Canelo unifies with Plant in September (hope it goes down) he’ll have option in December as he has said he wants 5 fights in 12 months and he won’t need to chase any straps.
They can fight and get installed as a top ranked guy or mandatory at 168. They are all DAZN affiliated so there should be no problems making the fight unless either one don’t want it.
I think Andrade would do it but I am not sure GGG would. He’s older and even a basic guy like Andrade could get to him. He would eat some uppercuts and he’d have a harder time pulling the trigger.

GGG won’t fight someone like that. He’s fighting only club fighters and tomato cans now.

But I agree, some of these other guys need to fight each other before demanding a Canelo fight, but they’re all chasing the big payday and don’t want to risk a loss jeopardizing the payday.

Or maybe fight some current contenders? Someone under 35?

and Mayweather should have fought Thurman as a stay busy fight, right? GTFO. GGG is at the end of his career and is only going to be involved in easy tune-ups and megafights. Andrade is neither.

They SHOULD all fight each other instead of waiting for Alvarez to hand them a payday. But they don't have the B. SACC to risk it to EARN it.

GGG is the one saying he wants the Canelo fight. Reports were that he turned down more money from Top Rank to go to DAZN so he could get a third fight.
Right now that fight only happens at 168so if he really wants it then move up and put yourself in that position.
Canelo’s not moving down for a guy he already beat. He can still make 160 but not as easily and he’s not giving GGG any advantage as he doesn’t have to.
The second fight did worse than the first so the casual interest is low for a third.
DAZN will have to pony up to make it happen and are more likely to do so if GGG has a good win at the higher weight needed to get it done.
