I don’t think Fury would have been at the fight if it wasn’t done.

There is too much money for it to not happen, they just have to finish the terms of the deal.

All that nonsense they talk about being fighting men, never quit, now we all know it’s a bunch of nonsense.

fury will do the same, quit on his stool when he feels AJs power. They ain’t about the fighting life like the claim they are.

I think it might finally be done but Eddie's been saying this 'next week' **** for a while and even recently said he shouldn't have been doing that so maybe this time he means it?

Hopefully it'll be officially announced soon.

It's a complete non-sequitur, desperately clutching at straws from a guy who fittingly has a clown's name. A better indication of how AJ would do against Fury is to look at some recent performances of their past heavyweight opponents in relation to each other, not how a blown-up middleweight English Traveller performed against a roided-up, A-side Mexican of Irish descent:

Ruiz vs 40 year old, badly worn, career lightest Arreola

The myth of Ruiz's granite chin and power punching (a product of AJ's overrated power and suspect chin) died in this fight as the ghost of Chris Arreola (a shot journeyman and ex-Vitali/Wilder/Stiverne punching bag who'd gone life and death with Travis Kauffman, Fred Kassi and Chris Harper 6 years ago) sent Ruiz to the canvas once, almost did so twice, had him hurt multiple times and won several of the 10 rounds in a competitive fight. Ruiz, who has gone the distance in 9 of his last 13 fights, including against several chinny journeyman, cracked AJ's temple and splattered him all over the canvas, making him tacitly quit in the 7th round. AJ avenged his loss to Ruiz: one of his best opponents (although a much more morbidly obese version) on the backfoot while weighing 10 lbs less than he did in their first fight, outlanding the obese Mexican midget 107-60.

Parker vs 37.5, badly worn Chisora

7 years ago, Fury retired Chisora on his stool in the 10th round after mashing up his face with a jab and spending the whole fight on cruise control, barely taking a single clean punch. Most people were saying that 30 year old Chisora was British level, past his best and should retire. Just a week ago however we see Chisora going life and death with a 29 year old ex-world champion Parker in a fight that many believed Chisora won. Chisora also went life and death twice with Whyte 3-5 years ago and many believed he won the first fight. Parker and Whyte were two of AJ's best opponents, with AJ going the distance with Parker, marginally outlanding him in a nothing fight while the British referee separated Parker every time he got too close and a green Z-side Whyte managed to seriously wobble AJ and have him holding on for two rounds after landing the same punch as Ruiz did.

Otto Wallin vs Travis Kaufmann and Dominick Breazeale

6'5.5, 240 lbs southpaw Wallin comfortably outboxed and retired Kaufmann in 5 rounds (the Kaufmann who was robbed against Arreola many years before, a far younger and fresher version of Arreola than the one who gave Ruiz a good fight the other day) and comfortably outboxed AJ's 8th best opponent in Dominick Breazeale to a 9-3 decision. An unmotivated, weight-drained and overtrained Fury, fighting most of the match with one functional eye, outlanded the durable, well-schooled and tenacious Wallin in 8 rounds to 4.

So that's how Fury and AJ's resumes have changed in the last three months. Personally I've always regarded AJ's resume as overrated; aside from this he's beaten several old men less comfortably than Fury (Wlad: 18 months younger, less worn, active, undefeated in 11 years, fighting at home, schooled) Wlad (Povetkin: 33 vs 38, Pulev: 33 vs 39) and Povetkin (Takam: 33 vs 36, no fake stoppage needed) when these AJ opponents were in their primes and unbeaten. And unlike Fury, AJ's best wins were all at home with the exception of Ruiz 2 (neutral) and his sole defeat was in his only fight on away territory (New York) a fight in which he looked visibly uncomfortable and out of his element in the ringwalk.

He said it was “done” and “terms have been agreed” 11 months ago.

When will people stop believing this clown.
