He probably wont. He has hinted at wanting that fight though. They're both huge in Texas right? Im just sick of people believing Canelo is ducking this guy who hasn't really fought the top guys at middleweight. No Danny Jacobs, no GGG, no Lara. Same goes for Andrade.

You say youre the best, then fight them all. And yes andrade and charlo should be fighting each other too, shouldve been happened but canelo still should fight them both.
Curious why you think GGG won’t fight either of them, if he is it’s because he’s waiting out a trilogy with Canelo. BJS and Smith had titles Canelo wanted, Smith was the man at 168. Yldrim was his mandatory and I won’t begrudge someone with his stature to fight a gimme every now and then, all the greats have done that. Truth is these young fighters are avoiding each other because they don’t want to lose but at the same time by doing so their stock stays flat and then they expect a Canelo fight and get a huge pay day and run away when they don’t get 8 figures. When nobody stands out you give room for Canelo to fight whoever. These up and coming fighters need to fight each other, Andrade, Charlo, Crawford, Spence guys like these are wasting their primes and just laying in wait it’s ridiculous. I say no fight until each of them takes a high profile fight.

A definite ouch. Be interesting to find out what the injury actually is. In the corner it looked like his cheekbone had gone awol.
Unfortunately for Saunders, his years of quotes aren't proving wise. No big surprise there.
I'll be surprised of he has much interest in returning. He's done very well out of boxing, was I believe, already set for life before this fight, and he was waiting on his shot at the pinnacle. I'm guessing a hefty price tag would be required to ask him to step back in. He wasn't easily fired up to switch on for many opponents as it was.

Charlo fighting no one is beside the point. We can easily say that Plant, Andrade, and Benavidez fought no one (not to mention Smith, Saunders, Fielding, Yildrim, etc.).

My point is that it looks like Plant will be another easy win for Canelo. Whereas, I think Charlo can give Canelo a fight. Can't say for sure but he is young, powerful, has speed, defense, etc. The Benavidez fight would be my second choice. But we all know the Plant fight is pointless and will be another repeat of the past 6 Canelo fights.

Juan Macias Montiel is pointless. It looks like it will be another easy win for Charlo. Why didn't he accept Benavidez' challenge and move up to 168 lbs to fight him?

Canelo has to fight the entire world before he gets any respect from some of you. But every other fighter gets a pass to cherrypick.

Saunders is an excellent technical boxer and proud gypsy fighting man. He wouldn’t dare accept defeat easily like Smith, not in the culture.
                      So proud. So culture.
