Most arbitrary stoppage I've ever seen.

Takayama was able to defend himself, had lots of energy, was actually trying to attack himself and hadn't been down, wasn't trapped on the ropes... Can only think the ref had money on a ninth round stoppage.

Well that's Texas for you. **** refs and incompetent judges. Laurence Cole has been the worst ref forever but will never loses his job that Daddy ****ey gave to him. Go Google his name and the first 10 hits come up are all variations on "Worst Ref Ever" articles. That was the worst stoppage I might have even seen. Just a toal joke, even by Texas standards.

That is fight number three for Soto with questionable results. #1 Heno very close even on the cards #2 - Acosta 12th round stoppage 8 seconds left in round Now this one.....
What a lousy card last night but I would be repeating myself. HW runs to ropes and falls down, ah not going to run thru it all it is getting old hard to watch even harder to take serious. These are not the fights I grew up enjoying that made me a fight fan. You just can not defend boxing after a while. There is no defense at a certain point.
