Of course your gonna get to keep your belt even if you lose in a defence. they just make another for the next champion. theres not just ever 1 belt for 1 particular title. besides floyd never lost, they wouldnt ask for them back lol. i bet they cost next to nothin to make. they're nothin special, just what they represent!

You "buy" the belt by paying the sanctioning fees, if you win it you get to keep it just like a trophy or medal.

After a title fight the new champion has to give the belt back to the former and wait for his own belt to be made and sent to him.

this is correct. the good news (actually kind of sad) is that sometimes former champs are broke and sell their belts. check ebay! I'm waiting on Shannon Briggs WBO belt to go up
