I still like Andrade vs. his high guard and flat feet.

Fail thread. Nelos peers after sharing ring with him are claiming he's unbeatable unless he fights cruiserweights.
These ideas or comments didn't exist around the time he fought floyd.
In fact the idea would be preposterous

Meh... I think the term Mythos refers to the collection of underlying and interconnected beliefs that underlie the mythology of a culture or epoch usually stemming from an origin myth and including some kind of pantheon.. e.g the Graeco-Roman mythos, the Meso-American mythos or (fictionally) the Cthulhu Mythos.

The term the TS probably wanted to use is just 'myth'.

That ain't an agreement BTW - I do think Canelo has developed plenty with his top flight experience - but the breakdown offered by the TS is interesting and has given me some food for thought over the nature of his improvements. If I had to pick on a coupla things I'd say his ring composure and energy management have improved dramatically (although that may be partly weighing in much closer to his fighting weight) plus he's added a much more methodical pressure counterpunching game over the last few years - possibly since around the GGG fights, although as pointed out by the TS there were elemnts of it there before, it just wasn't quite as patient and calculated. Dudes become an impressive stalker now, cranking up the pressure until he forces the mistake - ironically not entirely unlike Golovkin himself used to do.

the MAIN REASON why I want Canelo to fight Beterbiev is because I want to see Canelo move around the ring again as he did against GGG. Canelo has an impressive style that most don’t want to acknowledge. In the end, should Canelo move around ala SRL with Beterbiev, many industry boxers and trainer will continue respecting Canelo’s game.

I think Canelo still needs about 2 more years to FINALLY do hailmakers down the pipe and risk take shots like when he was younger… the way Julian Jackson or Eubank Sr. would just carelessly throw down the pipe. Canelo is more cautious to do that, and much has to do with the opponent in front of you. Canelo isn’t a pipe pot shotter, he’s more of a body demolitioner…

but if Canelo could methodically just shoot down the middle with his current style he could also hurt anybody given the momentum of his weight, but he chooses not to. I guess what I’m illustrating or wishing is the way Callum Johnson caught Beterbiev. *edit, not Johnson, the other guy who I won’t bother to find

i guess we just have to wait and see how Canelo evolves

He is stopping 168lbers, while only throwing 25-35 punches per round. his efficiency is through the roof. his connect percentage stands at over 50 % each fight. His opponents connect percentage has gone down drastically due to his crazy defense. his entire stance has changed, he is now fighting leaning forward as opposed to fighting upright like he used to. He has changed from moving his head just in case someone throws to only moving once he detects movement (more efficient again). Due to his new efficiency he never runs out of steam. His punching power has increased big time, due to a different delivery of his power. Just look at his last fight, the double triple fake jab while he kind of jumping into his opponent to either throw the uppercut oder the straight tight or a hook. His feints have gotton more refined. While he was at one point early in his career stunned or even wobbled, due to the fact he is no longer dehydrated his chin is made out of iron, having taken the best shots guys like GGG and Jacobs had to dish out. He has become a pressure fighter that walkes people down, forces them to throw breaks them down to the body and finishs them to the head. Back in the day Canelo was a pure counterboxer very often on the backfoot. SO HOW THE FCK HAS HE NOT CHANGED AND IMRPOVED: ARE YOU BLIND?????ß

Fact is that BJS is not at Floyd's level. Maybe Lara, I never though Lara was that great, but like BJS, he presents a style that is difficult to look good giants. People said the same about Rigo when he fought Loma, including me. However, BJS is the best fighter he has ever beaten without controversy.

hahahahah this bum shouldnt even be close to the TOp 5 P4P by the way hahaha. Getting kd by the number 10 of his division. Just imagine Canelo getting knocked down by jurgen braemer hahahahahahaha

                    This is just by memory:

                    - his ability to cut off the ring and force his opponent to work harder to keep him off improved.

                    - there definitely is an improvement in power that coupled with his accuracy and timing doesnt allow his opponents to make as many mistakes.

                    - the way he throws punches never allowed him to be able to fight with a sustained workrate, had to take rounds off in previous fights. His energy management seems to have improved somewhat, but that could be due to his opponents not being able to force him to fight at an uncomfortable pace.

                    - that being said, the nature of moving up in weight makes his opponents being slower comparatively which benefits his counter punching style.

We’ll find out when Alvarez fights someone similar to Mayweather

people also thought manny changed drastically until he got schooled by Marquez in the trilogy
