Americans need to learn from the British and Mexicans

Look at all the unifications coming up, the best fighting the best...

    Canelo v BJS
    Fury v AJ
    Taylor v Ramirez

    notice a pattern?

I know Ramirez is American born but he’s a Mexican guy.

Seems like only the brits and Mexicans are willing to put it all on the line. Spence and Crawford need to follow suit.

I’ll give Charlo some credit for fighting the Argentinian actually, but the rest want easy routes and not have top fighters and champs fighting each other.

The pinnacle of American boxing right now is 2 welterweights avoiding each other and Tank Davis picking up regular titles.

Ramirez is just one name so he really can't defeat the point you're making, which is a fine point, but his ass is American.

Y'all know it's ****ed up when we have to sit through Mexican anthems for dudes from Cali to fight.

I like when the the likes of Mikey Garcia come to the ring listening to mariachi music, When you know that’s the only time they ever listen to it

Maybe y'all need to learn from Japan, where if you're not ready to fight for a world title by your tenth pro fight, then you'll never be ready.

Did Ioka vs Tanaka not entertain?

Wilder fought Fury twice and Luis Ortiz twice.

Joe Smith fought Bivol and is about to fight Beterbiev.

Danny Jacobs fought Canelo and GGG.

          Charlo unified at 154

          Spence unified at 147.

Crawford is a three division and former undisputed champion.

          Ramierez is going for undisputed.

Teofimo Lopez unified against a former number one p4p fighter...

This is off the top of my head and there’s more to post, but I really don’t feel like researching to find more examples of how wrong you.

Ryosuke Nishida was 3-0, two year pro, 24 years old. His fourth fight? 17-1-1 former world champ Daigo Higa (25 years old, nowhere near over the hill)

That would never happen here. Kosei Tanaka tried for his fourth world title (fourth division) in his 16th pro fight. Over here he'd be called a bum for losing that match.

People in North America rather play promoter and do math on twitter to justify why their favorite fighters are ducks.

The pinnacle of most American boxers' career is making millions.

Other countries are still chasing sporting greatness (as well as money).

Jacobs v Canelo wasn’t good THE fight to be made though , was it? Also Jacobs was only regular champ when he fought GGG, it wasn’t a real title.

The likes of Crawford unified belts against Indongo, come on. That was at 140. I’m talking about making fights people actually wanna see, like Spence v Crawford

Ramirez v Taylor the only fight at 140 that matters, AJ v Fury is the only fight that matters at heavyweight now. All these fighters are willing to do it.

then you have Crawford and Errol happy to fight once a year without proving who is top dog.

You put Canelo vs BJS as a unification bout and then took a shot at Spence who is fighting Ugas.. In a unification bout lol. Everyone wants to see Spence vs Crawford and I'm hopeful it happens at year's end but there is no difference between Canelo vs BJS and Spence vs Ugas.

Charlo vs Castano is the exact same thing as Fury/Joshua and Ramirez/Taylor.

Fulton is set for a unification bout vs the winner of Nery/Figueroa in September.

Joe Smith is lining up to fight Beterbiev in a unification bout later this year and Plant likely fights Canelo in September.

Teofimo Lopez just beat Lomachenko in unification bout last October.

So I actually don't really get the criticism here. Boxing as an whole is getting a lot of unification/undisputed match ups in 2021.

Let's be honest, the only thing one can learn from British fighters lately is how to take an L.
