    20 x 20 = 400 sq ft, 22 x 22 = 484 sq ft. MATH
Those two feet mean the ring will be 21% bigger.

    That is too much.

Give it 2 rounds before fans start booing. Saunders is going to be running around like a track athlete and Canelo will just patiently walk him down knowing he can't lose a round because he'll be the one on the front foot.

Yeah I see it going more like this, I said in another thread I thought it could be like Witter vs Judah... I don't have a side in this fight, but I have watched the majority of both boxers fights and all the major ones, and I just don't see what the pro-BJS crowd seem to see.

BJS CV is absolutely average, he's barely even headlined a card, let alone anything even close to this much interest and pressure... People point to the Lemieux fight, but that isn't even comparable, and it is the only time BJS has looked spectacular too in 30 fights.

Last 10 fights (BJS has fought once since Nov 19):
BJS - Murray, Coceres, Isufi, Adamu, Lemieux, Monroe Jr, Akavov, Lee, Bloyer, Eubank Jr
Canelo - Yildirim, Callum Smith, Kovalev, Jacobs, Fielding, Golovkin, Golovkin, Chavez Jr, Liam Smith, Khan

BJS is getting badly beaten up, and definitely outboxed. I think this will be Canelo's most complete performance, he's super active and really putting it all together now.

Haha. Ditto. Canelo is going to maul him.

I think it would be more than ironic for Billy Joe to stay in the pocket...moronic perhaps!

I think you are right. Maybe we will see that Billy Joe is faster than Usain Bolt.

Saul Alvarez is not even that kind of a pressure fighter like a lunatic who is trying very hard to catch another crazy, slippery lunatic who will do anything not to get caught. Canelo plods slowly, methodically and patiently looking for openings.

Not sure why the size of the ring became this much of a huge deal in this fight.

I'd have rather seen a 20 foot ring, 22 feet is massive and if BJS runs there will be no catching him, could make for a boring fight. But BJS is no slouch, he's also going to stand in the pocket enough to have some good moments. I see Canelo winning by TKO in the 9th.

And people had the nerve to say canelo was being the diva and tried to pull a fast one on Saunders changing ring size

Lol I agree. I just find it funny that he would demand a bigger ring if he doesn’t plan on using it. Saunders is talking like he wants a BKB (Big Knockout Boxing) match but I expect him to be on his bike come fight night.
