froch is an old fashioned fighter with a iron jaw he will take dirrels best all night long and will knock dirrel out ppl saying on hear he will get worse than what taylor did dont think so taylor is diferent class to dirrel 1st real fight dirrels had and it will show see dirrel beina head by the 6th but come the 10th he be fast a sleep froch has power man and even though he wont win this thing his iron chin and power punch will get him the respect he deserves and as for pascal not bein a good fighter so rong there hes a furtre great at light heavy moneys on him beating cloud or dawson or both in years to come

Dirrell may have speed, but that counts for nothing if you don't have a lot of other attributes to back it up. In the few fights I have seen Dirrell in, he is very open, keeps his hands low, and thus takes a few shots himself. That's ok when you are fighting feather fisted cab drivers, but not a genuine world class fighter like Carl Froch, who wants to knock your head off with every punch. I don't believe Dirrell has the one punch power to hurt Froch, and if you can't hurt Froch you will not beat him.

Another factor is that Froch's skills are very underrated. Most people would have you believe he is nothing but a zombie with a good punch, and a good chin. The fact is, when Froch wants to box, he is very effective. Sometimes he will tuck his chin in, use his long jab, and catch his oppenents coming in with a well timed uppercut. When he actually uses he boxing skills, he looks very good, and is hard to fight against. While not a naturally quick fighter, he does have good speed, and uses angles to keep his opponents guessing where the next punch is going to come from. If he fights Dirrell with his brain, rather than his heart, the fight will be much easier for him.

I can see Dirrell winning the first few rounds off his speed, and quick hands, but once Froch has warmed up, he will start landing some big blows, causing the inexperienced Dirrell to fight off the back foot. After 7 or 8 rounds, Froch will land a money shot, knocking down Dirrell and hurting him badly. If he gets up, Froch will relentlessly **** away at Dirrell causing the fight to be stopped. This fight will not go past 10.

Carl Froch isn't slow. He isn't the fastest out there, but when he puts combo's together, his hands are pretty fast. Look at when he had Jermain Taylor against the ropes.

well when did jermain taylor ever become a one punch knock out artist!!!!!!!!

he was never really a puncher at 160, with just respectable power and quick hands

moving upto 168 taylors power would of went down slightly and still he managed to hurt froch pretty badly in round 3 so i do feel a young motivated dirrell can cause froch alot of problems

it took 12 rounds for froch to wear down a stamina limited taylor and he did it with 11 seconds to go

i think dirrell has a chin as good as taylor and will be quick and more talented in a boxing sense but this is the big test for him but froch is very very easy to hit and also fighing in his own backyard

but i think dirrell can get to him and stop him because th guy has range speed and alot of variety, i think he pummells froch with body shots and head shots till the ref steps in

Froch can talk all the good stuff he wants but he will be getting a lot of lead straight lefts connecting on his chin. Dirrel will be getting off like crazy and Froch will be exposed as a fighter with journeymen potential and that's it. He's gonna get hit alot more than he did against Taylor and it's gonna look worse.

Froch only fights one way and that is at the end of his punches. He can't fight inside because he can only throw an uppercut there and he can't fight moving. His fights like he got cement boots on and ankle weights on his wrist. His only way to win is a KO somehow because he's not boxing Dirrel to a UD. No way possible without a blatant robbery. He doesn't posses what it takes to UD him.

WAYS TO WINNING THE FIGHT.
FROCH: 1. Find a way to get to Dirrel and KO him.
2. There is no 2, 3,4 or 5 because he only has one way to win.

DIRRELL: 1. Just outbox him with angles and that handspeed that will have froch scared to throw on route to a UD.
2. Accumulate a high amount of damage on Froch and knock him out (please let me hear the reason why Froch can't be KOed LOL). He most likely will be KOed
3.Dirrell can run and popshot Froch all nightand Froch's limited footwork won't be able to do anything about it on route to a UD.

These 4 outcomes are the only possible outcomes. Not to mention that froch can't find sparring for Dirrell. He won't get any either because nobody he can get has the tools like Dirrell. The only 2 guys he can get for sparring are Chad Dawson and Anthony Dirrell. Nobody else will give froch anything that will get him ready for the speed, movement and overall skills he will see from Andre Dirrell. This is gonna be an easy to score fight with Andre dominating.

As for other things I got to speak on, Froch has beaten Jermaine Taylor and while that is a great feat we all know how that happened. JT gassed out late and got undisapline then Froch was there to take advantage of it. He was outboxed and in there with someone better and got the W. That's a great win no matter how anyone wants to look at it. He weathered the storm. Now to the point, I'm tired of people talking about that dam bum Jean Pascall as a big win. That guy is a bum, he's not fast but fights like it and he moves around slow (slow bounce) but acts like he's moving fast. He's sloppy period and to hear some of your say he's anything more then a B fighter (which Froch is) is just too funny. That bum he beat at LHW wasn't even respectable. Why do you think Pascall went up in weight? He's a dam bum and I hope he fights Johnson, Hopkins or Dawson sometime.
