- gift scorecards against trout, lara, ggg twice, cotto, floyd, jacobs, khan etc etc

- failed multiple drug tests

- abuse of catchweights to the point he made his own weight class

- abuse of rehydration clauses

- not giving his opponents proper time to prepare

- dumped his WBC belt to avoid ggg who was the mandatory at the time

- avoided a lara and ggg rematches

etc etc etc

he has been carried for almost all of his career. he is a carefully manufactured and marketed "champ".

NONE of them are using PEDS like Canelo was (and most likely still is). Even Wilder who took a beating in the first fight against Fury, took it like a man and didn't resort to using PEDS in the rematch like Canelo did in the rematch against GGG.

Wilder took his beatings like a MAN. Canelo went out like a little girl. That's why he refuses a 3rd fight, because he can't get away with cheating this time.

So yes....... I give them ALL more credit than cheater Canelo.

The worst thing you can say about Alvarez is that he goes after weak champs and that he fights guys at the right time. But boxing is entertainment and I think he'a fan friendly fighter and, with the right opponent, definitely worth watching.

Styles make fights. Canelo might look impressive against other fighters but that doesn't mean he'll actually win a fight against Golovkin.

Marquez vs Pacquiao is a perfect example of how one fight looks to have far outpaced the other. But as we saw in the 3rd and 4th fight, Marquez just had a style that gave Pacquiao fits.

Agreed. Marquez could stand his ground when others would be back on their heels with most of Manny’s combos especially the jab jab straight. He had that straight right hand he’d time Manny with, for four fights, until it paid off Big Time. It was like throwing a monkey wrench into many’s combo. I said the KO version was s like a “tech counter” in the street fighter games.... my brother replied “No...Tecate Counter.” I love reference humour.

This guy has been gifted some BS decisions, he got caught cheating TWICE and gave a weak excuse, he refused fighting GGG a third time which is a blatant duck. He's been fighting complete bums lately and bullied a drunk alcoholic into fighting him on short notice. And on top of all of that, he's been begging to fight Mayweather for a second time. Give me a break.

I give a lot more credit to guys like Spence, Wilder, Charlo bros and even to Crawford to a certain extent.

Canelo does not impress me at all.

So you should feel the same about Floyd right got Bs wins Castillo 1, Arguably DLH and Maidana 1 and never beat anyone up just pranced around the ring for 12 rds playing tag with opponents.
