But he landed a whole lot of punches on Lemieux and won every round easily.

Those clips are showcasing his defensive display in that fight. Doesn’t mean he didn’t land a lot of punches which he obviously did.

It’s a moot point because Lemieux isn’t on Canelo’s level.

As it stands 6 days out, the cards are currently 110-102 to Alvarez.

That's the problem with BJS. Very good defensively and should have some success in making Canelo miss a few times. But he doesnt follow it up with any effective counters and doesnt put his punches together. Canelo should take this imo

To this day nobody has yet to pull off a smooth proper Ali shuffle.

BJS will fight Canelo like this, barely win some early rounds then fade mid/late and lose on points.

Alcine beat Lemieux. Rubio stopped Lemieux. do we need specific highlights from them to prove Lemieux is beatable?

Thing is, BJS's entire game plan centers on the assumption that Cnelo will be chasing him all night.
What if Cnelo doesn't and decides to just stand in the middle of the ring or let Billy do the opposite?
Like Cnelo stated in one of his interviews, he's become patient and no longer the fighter who fought Lara and Mayweather.
So what's the plan B? You don't even have to have a large ring if Cnelo decides to stand in the middle of the ring.

Your thread is not about that...you wanted to know if Saunders style is effective.
