Ok then. Let's say a featherweight at WW. At the time Floyd fought his first WW fight, JMM was fighting for featherweight titles.
Lets say whats real , Floyd fights on the night at 147-148 , JMM fights at 142-144 , is that 2 ****ing weight classes , get your head out of your ass so you can explain how Manny Floyd is a good fight yet JMM is too small .
Could possibly be because of Plaster? Paul Williams
is a better technical fighter than Antonio Margarito. I'm
not comparing the Floyd win but just making a point on
how limited Margarito is as a fighter AND the fact that we
were having a debate about Floyd ducking Margarito early.
He doesn't have defense and just mostly bullies his opponents (Cotto/Cintron) because he has a solid chin but when he is
actually in the ring against a boxer with a strategy to fight
him, he can be out boxed.
Maybe....we will never know would we??
Paul Williams isn't a better technical fighter lol. He got beat by Quintana, yes he came back and beat him in the first round. That doesn't make me forget the first fight though. Williams gets hit way too much too. The Mosley that beat Margs would of done the same to Williams.
Yes Margarito can be out boxed....and the same goes for Williams.

I won't totally disagree with you on your post but there
is no way that Mosley beats Williams like he did Margarito.
Williams moves and throws way more punches than Margarito.
I would agree that Williams can be out boxed BUT if Mosley
was sure about beating Williams he would have fought him
when Goosen offered him a high pay day to give Williams a
shot. Quintana found some flaws in Paul's fight game but
I would say that Paul fixed them and redeemed himself.

Well maybe not exactly but I'm pretty sure it would be dominating. I don't think Paul throws way more...we are talking about 2 punchers that throw 100 per round. Maybe in his fight against Margs he did but it was still a close fight.
Because he was after Pac like nothing else mattered. I wouldn't say Paul fixed them against Quintana cause he KOed him in the first round. Why do you think he didn't fight a rubber match against him?? The risk.

i agree. he came up huge in the de la hoya fight especially. i gave him every single round and if i was the ref i probably would have stopped the fight. he beat the ****ing bag out of oscar
Are you talking about Pac or Mayweather, Pac won all the rounds but floyd didn't get going until the fight was half over
Floyd tried to fight Mosley YEARS!!!! ago when Mosley was in his
prime, how was he shot? Mosley told Oscar to beat Floyd and send
him the left overs? Jin NEVER wanted Mosley to step in the ring
with Floyd and she was his manager. Mosley didn't want Floyd
because he felt Floyd wasn't a big name but now Floyd is the
man and Mosley expects Floyd to jump up and give him a shot?
Floyd tried to settle everything back when Mosley and Oscar was
running things.
The times that Mayweather said he wanted to fight Mosley hold about as much weight as Berto saying he wants to fight Mosley now. What Mosley did back then is pretty much the equivalent of turning down Berto and moving up in weight to fight Kelly Pavlik. The only difference is, Berto is not as good as Mayweather obviously. Where I'm getting at De La Hoya was a bigger opponent and viewed as a bigger threat than Mayweather, and that was the direction that Mosley went in.
Mayweather fought De La Hoya when hardcore boxing fans knew there were tougher fights out there for Floyd to take like Paul Williams, Vernon Forrest, and Cotto or Margarito (I think these two guys are overrated though, but still viewed at the time from everybody as a bigger threat to Mayweather than De La Hoya). Mosley beat who was put in front of him at 135 even though I do fault him a little bit for skipping over 140 and not fighting Tszyu or a prime Zab.

Well I kinda agree in that Floyd won nearly every round , but he won them defensively as Oscar hardly put a glove on him , Oscar missed all night and on many occassions you could only see it when watching slow motion thats the trouble with Floyd he is so smooth its easy to miss whats he doing , Manny won offensively mainly because Oscar had no sting at all and Manny could take it up to him , with Floyd Oscar had a huge weight advantage .
Hey man, you asked me what WW's were saying that Baldomir/Floyd
would be a competitive fight and I showed you. Doesn't matter
what the odds were because Floyd was the bigger name. Bottom
line is that the WW's were not sure about the match up! Your
boy Antonio Margarito even said the biggest threats at 147 for
him was Floyd and Baldomir. Come on man, stop acting like
you don't get it.
This is coming from someone who is a non Margarito fan, but the reason why Baldomir being a tougher challenge for Floyd than Margarito holds no weight is because that is the very guy that Margarito wants to fight in Tijuana for his come back fight after getting destroyed by Mosley. Margarito and Arum know that would be an easy fight for him. Again, I don't care about Margarito but I have to give him the benefit of the doubt on this one when it comes to who Floyd should have fought in 2006.
the thing is, mayweather should be going for the k.o because if he doesn't beat jmm by k.o then he's a f-king joke! Heres hoping that JMM somehow beats Floyd!
