Fighthype: ****m, how did that go down?
NR- Man, i saw that block fall out of them wraps and I wanted to punch Margarito's trainer in the mouth
Fighthype: Oh, it fell out while they were wrapping it?
NR- No, it was already wrapped. They were about to put it on his hands. I felt that **** and said "damn, that feels hard as hell." Theyre going to try to tell me if feels okay. I said "well the **** dont feel okay to me." They had to take that off. This sport is dangerous enought without doing something like that. I know I didnt want him hitting my fighter upside the head with nothing like that on his hands.
Fighthype:You said it was a block that fell out. Could you explain what it was in there?
NR- It was bricked up gauze that had blood stains on it already and they ahad a piece of plaster over that. Man, you let that **** get hard through the course of a fight and you've got trouble.
Fighthype: Not saying Margo has dont that before, but you look for things like that whereas other trainers might be in there shooting the **** with Margo;'s guys.
NR- They would have been in there trying to get a job for his next fight. Im not in there to talk, laugh, nothing like that. I wanted to see his hands get wrapped and thats how I found that block.Comment

You might want to consider it convenient but it is the fact.
I'm not a PBF fan but the fact is that since he broke up with Top Ranks, a break up that had to go to court and is publicaly know that they hate each other after that, if you look at PBF resume you would probably not find a fight between him and any of Arum boxers.
Beleive me i'm one of the guys that want to see PBF against Cotto or Mosley myself, but I am also realistic.Last edited by prsi; 08-31-2009, 03:12 PM.Comment

Oscar weighed 12LBs more than Floyd on fight night AND
was/is taller than Floyd by like 2 1/2, 3 inches. Margarito
and Santos is on par with each other and Margarito still
came up short. The problem with Margarito is that he is
a 1 dimensional fighter and all you have to do is take away
his pressure and work rate and he can be beat (Mosley).
Margarito has NO skill, so all you have to do is Box him
(Paul Williams). In the higher weight classes guys Margarito
size and better will always beat him AND that's why he fights
at WW because of he is a very limited fighter.Comment

I never said anything about Oscar. Better win for Floyd beating Oscar than Pac cause he fought him on Oscar's advantages.
Paul Williams is 1 dimensional also. You act as if he can box. He's nothing special but size and better speed.
Margs came up short cause they stopped the fight. If it would of gone the 12 I guarantee you Margs would of probably knocked him out or won...that's if he can get passed the bull**** of fighting in PR.
If he's such a limited fighter than why was he at the top for such a long time??Comment

Could possibly be because of Plaster? Paul Williams
is a better technical fighter than Antonio Margarito. I'm
not comparing the Floyd win but just making a point on
how limited Margarito is as a fighter AND the fact that we
were having a debate about Floyd ducking Margarito early.
He doesn't have defense and just mostly bullies his opponents (Cotto/Cintron) because he has a solid chin but when he is
actually in the ring against a boxer with a strategy to fight
him, he can be out boxed.Comment
