Thats bull, you cant move up the p4p ladder by winning big fights, and then keep it by losing, if pac loses and mayweather wins, pac loses that spot. I am not sure mayweather takes it from him, however, there will be a new number one. P4P isnt corperate welfare, you dont get bailed out when you fail.

The double standards are ridiculous. Fact of the matter
is Floyd is fighting JMM at a catch weight of 144 and Cotto
is fighting Pac at 145 AND Cotto is a heavier puncher than
Floyd. No matter how good Floyd opponents are people
will find some reason to discredit them to make Floyd
look bad. JMM gave Pac all he could handle in 24 rounds
including after the KD's BUT Pac is so much better than
JMM? People say Pac can KO Floyd but think Floyd
fighting JMM is a mismatch? I think it's funny.

When you talk about losing marketing power for a fight with pacquiao is where you mess up. Cotto will beat pacquiao by tko in a bloody crowd pleasing brawl. On second thought you may be right but for the wrong reasons, like Mayweather dodging Cotto.

I agree with ODLH, I think Floyd must look good and stop JMM if he wants to make a statement. Light hitting Juan Diaz rocked JMM a couple of times but couldn't capitalize. If Floyd wins the way he normally does (by putting everyone to sleep), he doesn't do anything for his marketability.

Personally, I have issued a Roycott on Floyd. Until he fights someone his own size like Mosley, Berto, Clottey or Margarito (if he comes back legit) or he fights Pacman, then I have no desire to pay to see him. He can say he is worth this, that or the other and find all the ways out of fighting Mosley or Pacman, but both Mosley and Pacman have plenty of guys to fight (including each other) and can make a bundle without Floyd...

Also Floyd needs to change his name: Floyd "I Ain't Got No Mo' Money" Mayweather... hahaha

Pacman is most likely faster than Floyd but one thing for sure
is that he is not a better technical boxer than Floyd and IF you
disagree with that then I have no argument left. Pacquiao has
problems with technical boxers. Floyd would find all the holes
in Pacman's game and pick him apart. Whenever that fight
