      No question. He doesn't.

He enters the p4p rankings in the lower half of the top 10. That's based on past accomplishments. He gets nothing for beating a guy from 2 weightclasses below. It's only to show that he's back. Let's hope he takes some meaningful challenge (a WW) next.
Thats your opinion and its fair enough. but thats not what will happen. in reality he'll leap frog to either 1 or 2 in most peoples estimations!!

He's a lightweight too. He started his career at 130, the only difference was he moved up. But he didn't do it because he was too big like most do, he did it to get bigger fights. Should one be punished for being so damn good?

P4p is always about opinions. You can even debate if it should be based on skills or resumées.

Still I don't think beating a guy from 2 divisions below (however great that guy is) warrants a p4p top ranking.

Saying that Floyd is a lightweight is baffling. Then why didn't he make the JMM fight at 135 (or even 140)?

Floyd has been at or above 147 for the past 4 years while JMM, who's 36, one year ago was a superfeatherweight.
