So how is Fury’s resume ageing? He only has 2 wins over ranked opponents - Wlad who he ducked out of a rematch twice and who was then stopped and retired by AJ. And Wilder, who everyone agrees is absolutely terrible yet it took Fury 2 attempts and a near-death experience to beat him.

See, it’s easy to make anyone’s resume look bad. Or are top fighters only supposed to fight opponents who never lose again?

You guys can't decide if it was a freak win for Andy or not. Either way hurts your argument. You've either got to give Joshua credit for a lopsided win in the rematch, or accept that it was a freak occurence that was promptly reversed.

Andy now has one of the best heavyweight resumes out there. Joshua, close with Parker, and Arreola. It's a better resume than Wilder, who Fury's post-2015 comeback resume is entirely built off.

WTF are you talking about? Wilder smoked Arreola. SMOKED him. TKod him with a broken hand and a torn biceps while fooling around in the ring. Close with Parker. What are you talking about. Parker is a bum. You saw how they had to rob past prime Chisora yesterday? AJs resume is ****. He got beat by a 300 lbs fat version of the guy that got kd yesterday by a 40 year old 220 lbs former Top 10 fighter. He got badly whobbled by a guy that got koed stiff by a 42 year old Povetkin. And Parker, i already mentioned how he is borderline Top 20 at best. 39 year old active Champ Klitschko, prime Deontay Wilder and even prime Chisora are better wins than anything Joshua has on his paper resume.

if you watch soccer, a top team losing to a lesser team, just means they lost 'on the night' and doesn't mean the lesser team is superior. it just means they performed better on the day, or had more luck, or the top team was on bad form that night etc.
