I was particularly shocked when he knocked out Casamayor. I just didn't see Joel getting stopped by anyone in 135.

btw Morales wouldn't lose his first pro fight, nor would he lose to Norwood at his best weightclass, nor would he be ****** enough to accept a fight for peanuts and lose to Chris John.

Don't get me wrong, Marquez is a very good fighter, but I'm not all that hyped about him being this all time great suddenly.
EM never had to deal w/ the politics that JMM had to deal with.

He had HBO backing from jumpstreet.

JMM did it all w/ out HBO backing.

And you and I both know he beat John and Norwood.

          Come on now.

i feel that this fight with mayweather jr. is going to be somewhat of a version of meldrick taylor vs. j.c chavez sr. but 10x better why because marquez is a beat he had no free rides in his fights like j.c chavez sr. with over 100 wins lol its cool but cmon

                  Sounds like an excuse Jack.

                  Bottom line,

being on 24/7 doesn't qualify anyone as the greatest of anything.

Its simpy a countdown on steriods that was ushered in by a fighter who needed to drum up interest in fights that not many cared to see.
