JMM's finally getting his long past due validation.

Win or lose against Floyd, JMM has finally solidified his status as the best Mexican fighter of our era by making it to HBO's 24/7 and revealing to the masses into the best kept secret in boxing for the last 10 years.

I've always been a fan and felt a certain sense of pessimism because I thought I was one of the few that actually got to see what a special, once in a lifetime talent I was witnessing and I lamented the fact that I thought others wouldn't be able to share in this special fighter.

But with him being prominently featured in this Emmy award winning series and in one of the biggest fights of the year he will finally enter into the consciousness of the masses who have been wrongly deprived of seeing him fight.

Win or lose, he will finally get the recognition and attention that he's always rightly deserved and I'm really happy for him because aside from being an unbelievably talented athlete, he seems like one of the most genuine people you'll ever meet.

There's many of us fans that always knew what he was but its great to see the establishment that has maligned him all these years finally come around, because as we all know, sometimes it takes a nudge from the establishment to force others to see what we've known all along.

Here's to the mass awakening to the greatness that is JMM.

Him beating Mayweather will resurrect the spirits of the downtrodden.

It will prove that good can conquer evil and give the masses hope.

Great to see a fighter like Marquez getting some well-earned recognition. Here's hoping for a great fight on the 19th no matter who wins.

One good thing about JMM is he never came from a rich family, never thought about becoming a lawyer, and he also never tried to skin his gloves and fight safe while they are skinned. Cough Barrera cough.

If he fights like prime JMM he'll lose on the cards...

If he fights aggressive he's getting stopped...

This post makes so much sense,

because 24/7 was around during the heyday of Morales and Barrera.

Ummm, I'm not sure what you mean, but I'll clarify any confusion about this for you.

                  JMM> Erik Morales > Barrera.

Thats the hierarchy, you best learn it if you know whats good for you.

Well, since making 24/7 is all it takes to make one great,

Ricky Hatton is an all timer now.

btw Morales wouldn't lose his first pro fight, nor would he lose to Norwood at his best weightclass, nor would he be ****** enough to accept a fight for peanuts and lose to Chris John.

Don't get me wrong, Marquez is a very good fighter, but I'm not all that hyped about him being this all time great suddenly.
