He underestimated Oscar's role in creating Canelo the brand. Canelo's popularity has likely plateaued, I say this as a fan. Wouldn't be surprised if Oscar's comeback brings in more revenue than Canelo Vs Saunders.

This is what I found most interesting. & what this means to me is either Canelo is not losing for the rest of his career. Or he could get robbed soon depending on how Dazn feels about having to pay him even more. Or maybe the platform doesn't even matter..... I've spoke with people in the past & recently about scenarios like this & the more I think about it I can see something controversial happening for BJS. The storyline is there.. Eddie allegedly has a new deal with Dazn UK. The UK is very supportive justly or unjustly. They wouldn't let Andrade fight BJS cause they want to build support for Dazn UK among other things. Canelo is at the point where AJ was. People love a comeback story. If Canelo lost next week all it would do is make the rematch (& himself if he could win pt. 2) bigger. Things could get interesting if he can't KO BJ.

Even tho he's making more, I don't think DAZN is paying more. Remember, he's a free agent now. No more splitting his purse with "your boss". The entire purse, os pretty much his now.

Have those tickets been sold to 70k individuals or a 3rd party seller? Tickets are still readily available.

Putting event tickets aside, I'd like to see actual viewer numbers from DAZN to gauge his star power. They'll never do it. Triller shouts theirs from the rooftops, something you do naturally when you're proud of something.

I'm not saying he's not popular. He's still the face of boxing for now. I said he has plateaued. What super fight is in the pipeline for him? Charlo? Benavidez? Spence?

Been hearing the same story about Oscar from multiple people repeatedly over the years. Before the Schaefer Split it was indeed Schaefer and Eric Gomez running GBP. After the Schaefer Split I'm 1000% Positive Eric Gomez is doing all the work along with Roberto Diaz while Oscar comes when he wants and show up to the Office every now and then either High and/or Drunk or Hung Over which was the exact same stories when Schaefer was still with GBP

His Demons was on Full Display during that Triller Event I guess! Not the Judge the man nobody is perfect but Oscar love to throw stones at others while living in a glass house
