I think Tommy Fury was known for a reality TV show and I think it was Jake Paul that mentioned him first.

Tommy is a novice but he's a heavyweight who fights journeymen heavyweights that he's set up to beat. Jake is a cruiserweight who probably has enough skill to stay with some journey men cruiserweights with poor records but has been fighting limited celebrity opposition.

    Let's be honest who cares.

Tommy only got on his reality TV show because his last name is Fury.

          Tommy fights at 175

he’s also been boxing since he was a little kid. I remember IFL interviewed him about six years ago when he was about 14 or 15, training for amateur fights. So it’s not like he’s just fell into boxing recently because his brother is famous.

he hasn’t fought anyone decent as a pro yet but he can clearly fight and been knocking out the bums as he should be, if he’s going to be at least half decent.

I doubt the fight happens. Jake Paul is smart enough to keep calling out people with a name but fighting people who never boxed before. Unlikely gets in with a pro boxer with lifelong experience, regardless of his pro opposition so far.

he’s made himself an Internet star and multi millionaire by basically being a troll, and people really think he’s going to fight an actual boxer? It’s got a nice little formula of calling out everyone and fighting names that aren’t boxers.

... This incessant demanding of 50-50 split is what's really killing the business.

I really, really, REALLY want to see Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul. It's really a perfect fight. Both at similar levels professionally too. Furys last opponent has something like a 3-23 record. He's not really in any position to be talking about fighting cans.

It was Tyson Fury who triggered this **** off by tweeting Jake Paul and challenging him to fight Tommy. Tyson, btw, approves of Jake and believes he is good for the sport.

Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury would be a very interesting fight, and a very entertaining event, both in and out of the ring. What Jake says about the 50/50 split is fair enough. Tommy's profile, worldwide, is nowhere near as high as Jake's.

Jake is just looking to fight a bigger name to lose to ,when he said real striker .

Tommy would defeat him pretty easily . The only entertainment would be outside the ring .

Jake Paul is 100% correct in his assessment and it’s going to be funny hearing fans trying to spin it but he’s right.

He said Tommy Fury fluffed his record, and that all boxers do that. He also said boxers fight guys who are at their level when they first start, also a fact.

Jake Paul didn’t say anything false in this comeback. He exposed pro boxing for what it is and fans need to admit that what he said is true.
