While I think what Gerald apparently did to animals was pretty sick, it's a little strange to me how often people talk about karma and how he deserved it yet people don't say it about other fighters who do bad things to humans. I like dogs and all, but when Gatti and Corrales died, I didn't hear anyone talk about how it was karma coming back to them. Gatti had repeated instances of spousal abuse and assaulted a poor security guard intervening when he was roughing his girl up. Corrales went to prison for assaulting his pregnant wife, ripped off his trainer, had other cases of domestic abuse...no one talks about karma for him.

It was Jake LaMotta's b-day a little while ago and people are all "let's send him a letter" and all this other stuff.

When he dies, watch all these people go "RIP Champ, the Bronx Bull" even though he was a piece of **** and most likely a bigger scumbag than G-Man.

Personally I don't care much about what McClellan did with the whole dog fighting thing.Dog fighting is what it is.He just liked to see blood. That was the type of man he was.He liked killing things.

But I don't see how anybody can say he deserves what he got. That makes you even worse than YOU THINK he was.

I think it's pretty sick, but I don't understand why people talk so much about karma for him and not for other people who committed disgusting acts towards humans.

          Yeah it's bad but.....you know....I don't get it.....

To me if you're gonna talk about how this guy beat that guy or killed that dog or **** like that you better have a clean file.

If I had a dime for every convict that talked how bad was that guy or that guy I'd be rich.

You're right, and I didn't weep over the loss of Gatti and Corrales like so many others here.

I didnt know about the dogfighting thing. I knew he had dogs, attack dogs and that he loved them. There was something about tattoo on his right bicep I remember, in that documentary. A pic of him pointing at it. It obviously had a warrior-like message.

Agreed. If you can't appreciate Gerald McClellan as a boxer, then you shouldn't appreciate the likes of Sugar Ray Robinson, Carlos Monzon and Jake LaMotta either.

I do find it rather hypocritical of Mr. Slimey Limey to call McClellan critics "treehuggers" when he himself brings up dirt about Robinson and Louis all the time.

The fact is that you won't find too many role models in boxing.

Even George Foreman was a street mugger and a woman-beater in his younger days but look at him now. From what I've read, McClellan had become disgusted at dogfighting when his favorite dog nearly died although there's no way to confirm this.

They're all just rumours that we have little knowledge of, McClellan himself likely doesn't remember a thing from those days.

Again your lack of the english language comes into play and you make a fool of yourself yet again. Do you know what treehugger means you wanker? They are ******s like Scott that value the life of animals and trees more than the life of humans.

If you could save your best friend or dog from a burning house, which one would you choose if you had 1 choice? If you choose the cute puppy, then you are a treehugger. You dumb ****ing tosser you are mate.

I know what it means. What I'm talking about is you criticizing Louis and Robinson for what they have done in their personal lives while turning a blind eye to what McClellan has done and actually insulting those who criticize him.

I don't mind your posts in this thread at all but you're being hypocritical as always.
