would you have made this thread if he wasnt injured? - no

this thread says nothing about appreciating him as a boxer and it's basically for sympathy votes for him as a human being with an injury.

as a human being he was a dog fighter.

I'm pretty sure him posting highlight videos of McClellan and nothing about him being injured means that he's appreciating McClellan as a boxer.

Forget about how he used to be or how he ended up as a person and just sit back and watch the man fight. You'll be entertained.

Him being injured or not wouldn't have changed my opinion. As I said before, his career is a highlight reel and was an entertaining fighter--isn't that what we watch boxing for, to be entertained?

And I know all about his history as a dog fighter. I own the very breed he fought. It still doesn't change my opinion of him as a boxer.

The first Jackson fight was aswesome in a entertainment POV and as a performance by G-Man.

I'm going to go to a music forum and post how great Gary Glitters contribution to music was. Forget about the kids he abused, let's just remember the good times.

In other words you can't refute my allegations and defend this scumbag whose main claim to fame is suffering a terrible injury on a televised fight.

The embodiment of that rare speed&power combination. Great offensive but not defensive fighter. Here's to you G-Man! And this is from a Nigel Benn fan. Hell, all Nigel Benn fans should love Gerald McClellan!

If Glitter's contribution to music was more significant than just a few catchy bubble-glam hits, you could do that, yeah. Art is art. Many scumbags have made great art. You don't have to like artist's as people, if the art says something relevant or reflects the joy of living in some way, it is what it is.
You know Glitter didn't make his music alone, right? I mean, what, if you found out some obscure sideman who played 3rd guitar or mandolin on an Elvis Presley session had chopped his wife up or some ****, you wouldn't praise Elvis' contribution to music anymore? Get a grip.

I don't refute he fought dogs. Wouldn't even try to. But I could post at length on how you're making a simplistic, dumb judgement out of much more complex societal issues. If I hadn't wasted the skin of my fingertips doing so many times prior to now.

                      Grow up, kids.
