Tyson Fury and team Fury for whatever reason, do not want this fight right now 'If they can get out of it? They will'.

The fight is there to be made, all the obstacles are overstated.

This is like the first AJ - Wilder negotiations all over again. It was only when Tyson exposed Wilder in the first fight that Hearn was serious about the Wilder fight the second time of negotaitions.

Arum and Warren have been more genuine during these negotiations and they know nothing is a done deal until it is signed.

Eddie has really brainwashed these casuals into believing him. Anyone with half a brain knows Eddie is a liar.

I hope they can finally get the fight done this time around because Fury is clearly better than Wilder. I'm interested in seeing how Fury and AJ match up. Let Wilder iron a few wrinkles in his game before you throw him back in there with Fury.

Everyone on this thread accept myself are being subjective.

Its is extremely clear that Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua want this fight 'It is also clear that Team Fury will get out of this fight if they can, with a good enough reason which makes them look like they really really wanted the fight'.

This could be because they are not happy with the business deal, or they are spooked.

People just need to be honest with themselves here, it is very clear that Tyson Fury & Team Fury are making this very difficult.

The fight is there to be made, site fee, plenty of funds 'The obstacles are overstated, the fight could be made today'.

Isn’t it a bit weird that Eddie is trying to make the fight and get deals done, even by arums and fury’s acknowledgement they are just “waiting”. Surely they could be pro active and find a deal themselves to offer ?

if the fight doesn’t happen, everybody knows it’s down to fury’s side. It’s pretty obvious to everyone here.

The deal is there, but it's obviously unwieldy due to its size and the timing. They are building a new venue for the summer?? To be fair to Arum, having a non-binding agreement at this stage is not much use, though it shows Eddie's negotiations aren't pure fabrication and, at the same time, Arum being publicly so negative can't possibly help the cause.

My guess is that Arum would prefer to go for something concrete taking a well-trodden path (e.g. US) and forego the mammoth site fee for that certitude, while Eddie wants to continue to try and play for the higher risk/higher rewad scenario. I don't think Eddie is purely blowing smoke up everyone's backside with his comments about a deal never having fallen apart at this stage, but clearly nothing is written in stone and the fight is unprecedented in terms of its peculiar confluence of magnitude and pandemic.

To be fair, Hearn is the one trying to get this fight made. The other guys are just sitting around waiting to see what happens.

You're the one being objective? By stating team Fury don't want the fight, when they are the ones coming out, constantly putting pressure on Hearn, by stating nothing is done, they haven't received any offers for a fight that's supposed to take place in 2 months?

Hearn has been the one since February constantly coming out in public saying "a week," or "2 weeks." Two months later, the fight still isn't done, but it's Fury's team's fault?

So let's be objective and look at the facts, as we know them.

Hearn is saying he has a deal all but done to get the fight on in Saudi Arabia. Arum and Warren are getting impatient waiting for it to happen.

That's all we know at the moment, and nothing in that is telling me that either side doesn't want the fight.

I agree, I think both sides want the fight. My point is that Eddie should just be quiet, and get the job done. Since February, he's been giving deadlines, only to be contradicted, publicly a day or 2 later.

At this point the fans don't know what to believe. Very unprofessional, imo.
